PG Porn

Quote:

How many times have you been watching a great porn film – you're really enjoying the story, the acting, the cinematography – when, all of the sudden, they ruin everything with PEOPLE HAVING SEX?

A bunch of times, right?

That's why I, along with my brothers Brian and Sean, have created JAMES GUNN'S PG-PORN. It's pornography everyone can enjoy, not just perverts. You and your grandmother, for instance, could sit down together and enjoy some nice clean smut. Or your kids could come home from school, and the whole family could gather around the computer and not-jerk-off to some porn deeply embedded with traditional values (like not fucking.)

GOOD BOYS PRODUCTIONS and SAFRAN DIGITAL GROUP is proud to announce our new web series, JAMES GUNN'S PG-PORN, which teams mainstream Hollywood actors with performers formerly known for their work in the adult industry, but who will soon be known for being part of a worldwide revolution in sexless pornography. JAMES GUNN'S PG-PORN is the only porn where, when the delivery boy comes over to deliver some pizza, people actual get what they're expecting – some delicious pizza!

We hope you'll join us OCTOBER 8 on Spike.com or here at PGPorn.TV to see the very first episode of JAMES GUNN'S PG-PORN, Nailing Your Wife, with Nathan Fillion and Aria Giovanni. Watch Nathan Fillion inhabit the role of "CHRIS", who doesn't have any sex whatsoever with his boss's wife, MRS. GRIMES.

Until then you can watch this interview of myself and Aria Giovanni, talking about the genesis of PG-PORN, and how all of your MySpacers helped in the process.

Seriously, guys – creating PG-PORN has been some of the most fun of my life! We've shot five episodes, and are in the process of shooting the rest of the series with even more Hollywood and adult industry insiders. This is the secret project I've been talking about on my MySpace blog, on Twitter, and at the James Gunn Appreciation Society for a while now.

All the episodes are directed by me, and written by myself and my brother Brian Gunn. They're being shot and edited by my creative partner, Pete!!! Alton, produced by Stevie Blackehart and Peter Safran, featuring costumes by Mary Matthews. I'm also excited to have Tyler Bates, the composer of 300, WATCHMEN, DEVIL'S REJECTS, and DAWN OF THE DEAD, scoring the episodes.

Sean and Brian and I have been coming up with concepts for PGPORN for years, and we can't wait to share them with you.

Can't wait.

I...don't get it. :(

mrklixx 10-04-2008 06:14 PM

Seems like something that might be funny for a one time 5-minute sketch on MadTv or Robot Chicken, but I have a hard time seeing the value of an ongoing series.

skizziks 10-04-2008 09:13 PM

Wait, is this serious? No, it cannot be serious. It just can't.

LoganSnake 10-04-2008 09:30 PM

It's dead serious.

skizziks 10-05-2008 08:21 AM

Damn, first Firefly (which kicked major ass), then Drive (which started out ok) and now this. Fillion cannot get a break, can he?

Jozrael 10-05-2008 08:36 AM

Fillion is amazing. I loved Firefly so much :(.

Redlemon 10-07-2008 10:53 AM

Nathan Fillion? Yeah, I'd watch it. I wonder if I get Spike...

LoganSnake 10-08-2008 07:46 AM

First episode is up on the website!

It's great.

mrklixx 10-08-2008 10:39 AM

That was pretty funny. :D

"Episode" is a bit misleading though. When they said series, I was thinking 1/2 hour episodes, which is why I said I didn't think it would work as a series. But this is more like a really short, self contained Madtv/SNL sketch. I'm still not sure that this works as an actual TV entity, because if you blink you'll miss it.

Ayashe 10-08-2008 04:05 PM

Cute, but doesn't make a lasting impression on me. Sure it is funny, would be hilarious to have that playing and have Mom and Dad pop over.. heh, only to find out it was a spoof. I can't see watching it frequently. Then again, I don't watch television as a rule.

LoganSnake 10-09-2008 05:56 AM

That's a strange rule...

And technically, this isn't television. It's the internet. :)

One of these days I'll learn to read. ;) I thought that they were going to be airing these on the SpikeTV channel. Hence, all of my previous comments on the subject should be disregarded. (like they were actually regarded in the first place)

Halx 10-12-2008 09:19 AM

I was really skeptical, but I just watched it. It was totally not what I was expecting and it got me to laugh. Good job.

Redlemon 10-14-2008 09:33 AM

Ah, didn't realize it was web-only, thought it was just cable. I loved the stilted acting, but I didn't really care for the ending of Episode 1. I'll give it another shot, though, anyone know when Episode 2 is out?

LoganSnake 01-29-2009 08:53 PM

Second episode is up!

telekinetic 01-29-2009 09:03 PM

Why is this so amazing? LOL

Plan9 01-29-2009 09:10 PM

I feel bad for the kittens. :(

777 01-29-2009 09:36 PM

Ouch, she got "nailed" ROFLMAO

I wander what's the budget for these...

CinnamonGirl 01-29-2009 10:02 PM

The second one was mildly amusing... I can't get the first one to play. Grrrr... and I love Nathan Fillion.

Considering Nathon also "bashed heads" in Dr. Horrible, I'm sure he's up for anything internet related.
