I need an opinion

Hi everyone. My hubby and I just had a baby so finances are tight this X-Mas. I'm giving most of my friends artwork. But I want to make an enlargement of one of my previous drawings for my friend's living room. She's into the black leather and chrome look, so I thought one of my black&white pencil drawings would be good.
Anyway, could you give me an opinion on which to blow-up? Pardon the graininess, my scanner sucks.

Thanks.

Can't see them, either you were logged into your yahoo account, or yahoo doesn't allow hot-linking

I recommend hosting your pictures on a public server, I can't quite remember the address.

If you remember the address, let me know. I haven't been online in ages and I'm out of touch. But yes, i was still logged in to my yahoo account, so maybe it'll work now.

hey hey, you might want to get yourself a photobucket account or something, while you're logged into your yahoo account, it means you'll be able to see it, and not us :)

#2 have some flaws in the hairline and face so I'd go with #1 :)

GoldenOuroboros 12-09-2005 04:25 AM

I agree with Nancy, I like the shading and tones of #1 as well :)

little_tippler 12-09-2005 04:42 AM

Fly 12-09-2005 06:07 AM

#1 it is for me too........

Redlemon 12-09-2005 07:16 AM

#1 for the nicer curves (and very nice work!).

JustJess 12-09-2005 07:51 AM

Agreed, #1 is smoother somehow.

Charlatan 12-09-2005 08:01 AM

So far it's unanimous... #1.

longbough 12-09-2005 10:51 AM

The first one, definitely.
Textures are more delecate - and the lines are quite graceful.
Very arresting.

Could you post some higher rez scans?

Naked Communist 12-09-2005 10:36 PM

Thanks everyone. I like #1 the best too, lol. I need to get a better scanner and maybe I'll post some of my other work. Thanks again for looking. :)

doodlebird 12-09-2005 11:14 PM

#1 is #1.
unanimous

Naked Communist 12-11-2005 11:02 PM

Now I just have to blow it up, lol. I'm in a small town - that might be the hard part. Thanks for the compliments. :)

cinnles 12-15-2005 05:09 AM

Beautiful work too :) Both are, but the first one especially makes me tingly inside...both because it's well done and, well, nevermind ;)

Grasshopper Green 12-20-2005 06:45 PM

I always liked the first one, so I'd go with that as well

Slippery Slope 12-28-2005 06:26 PM

I know it's too lat for Christmas but also like the
softness of the first one. Both great though.

I just love portraiture.

fightnight 12-29-2005 08:05 AM
