Portrait of My Love
1 Attachment(s)
I've just finished a portrait of my love in Illustrator. I'm pretty pleased with it.
What do you think? |
I think it's fabulous
|
That is really awesome. You're so lucky, too! He's absolutely adorable. Very very nice work.

HOLLY HELL you did this in Illustrator?!? WOW that's good, I'm jealous. That's really really good.
|
It's awesome my dear! I was just wondering about the mix of styles.. the hair/clothes is cartoony whereas the face is all watercolor-like? :hmm:

/me cries...
she looks like she does AND she's that talented... it's just not fair... I agree with Nancy - he's the lucky one.. And the picture is fabulous! beautifully done.. |
Thank you for the positive feedback everyone!
Nancy, if you were a critic, I'd say that the mix of styles is to emphasize his face and the loveliness therein, but since you're not really, the mix of styles is because I got lazy with the shirt. Pandafae, I agree. I'm very lucky (he's such a cutie, and sweet to boot!) Nancy and Mal, I agree. He's very lucky (I'm such a cutie, and modest to boot! ;)) But really, thank you very much. I'm glad you like it. |
That is so good, looks just like him! I love how much personality you captured in his smile. Is that the look he charmed you with Cello? ;)

Very pretty! I was Illustrator!
|
i love that style! great job hun!

The glasses are almost dead on (thanks for leaving out the bifocal line). My hair is not that long, though, and I part it on the side and comb it back.
The eyes are the wrong color. I have brown eyes. And I usually wear collared button front shirts. What? It's not? Oh Umm...really nice work there, Cello. :o |
It's pretty cool how the intelligence of the subject was retained through the drawing of the eyes.
Good work Cello. |
