Weekly Activity 25/7 - 31/7 "Lego"

As per what Clavus has asked for, you are either to create your own creation and take a picture of it or draw something up :D

Have fun all and take it easy

Not only do I not have Legos, but I also don't have a camera with which I could photograph my Lego creation. Looks like I'll be drawing this one out.

Have you all seen Lego Digital Designer?

Here's something I put together in about five minutes:

It's an... er... Helitrucktor-boat.

how 'bout it?
it's fuckin' hard for us monkeys to use.
the brick selection is pretty sweet
but it's not that easy to get the bricks just where you want them.
i've got a lot of practice ahead of me.

the roof is not quite right,
i didn't count before i started
so the top row is a different angle than the rest. grrrr.
and the 2nd story windows don't sit quite right in relation to the roof.
but there's no way in hell i was gonna go back and fix any of this
and still have it done by the end of the week.

MAYBE tomorrow night,
i'll break out the real legos.

Nice house, doodlebird! Though that Lego man might want to mow the inside of his house. You can see through the door that he's got grass indoors.

Maybe someone can use this as inspiration:

there don't seem to be any suggestions...

Desario 08-01-2005 12:25 AM

There may not be any suggestions, but it's one of the gnarliest things I've seen this week.

given the amount of time it took me to just build the freakin' thing, there was no way i was going to add furniture inside!

uhh, i meant to say...
that's a green carpet in there.
you know the indoor/outdoor astroturf stuff?
yeah. that stuff.

Tirian 08-09-2005 10:35 AM

that's a fun little app....
painful too.

doodlebird 12-31-2005 10:00 AM

for any other mac users, lego digital designer is now available at lego factory.

i haven't tried it yet, but it says you can buy the models that you build. sweet.
