Hmmm...well I know what Nancy looks like. But Dizzet was a mystery. So I asked my 5 year old, "What do you think Dizzet looks like." He had no context. His world is dinosaurs. The color, however, was a surprise.

^^ wow, I didn't know the characters was originally from a comic strip! I used to play the Spy Vs. Spy game on my older brother's Commadore 64 when I was a kid and have been under the impression ever since that that's where they originated from. I'd like to check out the comic strip - is it available online somewhere?

nope. this is one of the rare ones that i drew in photoshop. OK, calling it drawing is a stretch. i only added the long hair for you and Dizzet's spiky hair on top of his hat.

and as for the comic being "funny" - i dunno. as the interview states (as i interpreted/remember), the strip was drawn by an exiled cuban commenting on the futility of the cold war. it is "fun" to see the imaginative ways in which they destroy each other, uhh, so yeah, i guess it's funny.
