Self Portrait - Da Vinci style
2 Attachment(s)
I have always liked Leonardo Da Vinci drawings, more than his paintings. So I spent a while copying his work, so I could try and master his style and technique. Here is my version of one of his drawings, which is believed to be a self portrait. After finishing the copy I did my own self portrait, trying to match his style. Please excuse the fuzziness of my picture, I'll try and post a better one this weekend.

I just don't know anything about art...which one is DaVinci? I'm guessing the left one...

That is pretty cool.
I'm not familiar with Da Vinci's style but how does one go about drawing a portrait of himself? |
I'm impressed.
Very good work. May I ask the medium? Mr Mephisto |

Very nice. I believe we can learn a lot by copying the work of other artists.

Extremely sick. I'm a huge huge Da Vinci fan and I dig not only your shared love of his style but also your ability to adapt to it. I'd highly recommend sticking to practicing his style, you're really good at it. I personally love his drawings more than his paintings too, particularly his sketches of his inventions.
