Some of my art work
So, I never posted my own stuff here before, but I thought I'd give it a go. I'd love to know your opinion.
This isn't so recent but it's within what I'm currently working on. I am an artist but not yet successful (hopefully some day ;)) http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y70...ler/paint2.jpg this is a detail of the same one: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y70.../paint2det.jpg Another painting: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y70...ler/paint1.jpg this is a side view, so you can see that it has volume: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y70.../sideview1.jpg |
damn Tip.....I am intrigued.....I cant use the term beautiful, so I will go with fascinating.
But I like it very much. |
thanks fascinating is a good word...they're meant to be intriguing...but they are beautiful to me. It's a long story...

the word i'd use for them is Intense. it doesn't seem like the type of painting that you could just pass by. you can't help but have some sort of reaction to it. i can't get a full gauge of the size, but it seems large. is it? well documented. thanks for sharing. |
Like Tec, I wouldn't call this beautiful, but it is a rather interesting style.

I really like the second painting. Very organic shapes mixed with intense colours always seem to have an effect on me. (to be honest, it reminds me slightly of something very feminine. It's wonderful though!)
What does it say within the black? All I can make out is "glue" and "need" |
Interesting. I'm drawn by the juxtaposition of the contrasting colors. The eye is enticed by the symetry of the form in the middle, to escape the chaos of the verge. What idiom would you classify it?
