Thoose are pretty damn cool. I like the one with the girl and gun.

TexanAvenger 03-07-2005 04:32 PM

The style kind of reminds me of some of my favorite graphic novels and the storyline cuts in the Max Payne games. I too am totally digging the girl with the gun.

ShaniFaye 03-07-2005 04:42 PM

I really really like the one of the doggie!!!

RonRyan85 03-07-2005 05:01 PM

Excellent artworks! The one with the lady and gun could be......
Martha Stuart ...."She's Back and She want's REVENGE !"

Dog is very good also.

mmm...kyle 03-07-2005 05:14 PM

I really like the second one, just like the simplicity of it.

Awesome doggy. Looks like my mother-in-law's dog.

i'd like to see more of your work like the 2nd one.
i think you have a style going on in that one that could be quite a successful route for you to persue further.

Hello exile2k4 - very nice hand esp. what I see in #2 head and #4 figure. Each one is graphicly clean and expressive and professional looking. #4 is the best in my eye because it could be a crossover between fine and graphic art and works beautifully either way. Truly very fine all of them. The dog has real personality. Thanks for the post.

Exile, you've got mad skillz. Every one of your pieces in this thread and outside of this thread always make my jaw drop.

the second one rocks. i love how you've so clearly defined what you are drawing with such an amazing lack of definition. did that make sense? umm.... you've done a lot with a little ?? is that more clear?

anyway... great work. i admire you sense of light and dark.

exactly how I felt here... 'a lot with a little'... how big is the original of the second pic?

These are really excellent, you have define mastery of the human figure, and by the looks of it a dogs too, ha, but I must say man great stuff. I can see from these simple sketches how professional you are wit this.

I like all of the sketches here. The first couple sketches were nice and simple. And I liked the style you displayed in the 3rd and 4th pictures. Very nicely done.

Excellent work. I think #2 is my favorite... though the dog picture is nearly perfect. You could make a good living with that. Would love to see more!

frogza 04-06-2005 06:09 AM

Very good work. They are expressive and accurate. The red in the labrador makes that picture so much stronger.

darkangel 04-06-2005 08:05 AM

Those are great. Your ink wash portrait is something I have wanted to really try. Beautiful dog portrait too. I suck at doing animals + color, so it makes it that much more fantastic to me. :)

Mr.Deflok 04-06-2005 12:55 PM

I love the first one, I'm a sucker for simplicity and contrast.

Seeker 04-10-2005 05:35 AM

First, second and the Dog for me... I must say I am a soft touch when it comes to pastels, it's my favourite medium :) I can really appreciate the artistic look of the fourth as well.
Nice
