| Rawr! Location: Edmontania | WOW! i can't believe you have such an awesome tablet! lol i'm so jealous nice vector work. Perhaps a little more cel shading would identify your light source a bit better? Still i think it's really great.

Perhaps if you would indulge me in the mighty world of cel-shading, i would be able to cel-shade it better? I've cel-shaded in 3D Studio Max, but somehow I don't think that this involves anything remotely like 3D... The only way of shading I can think of in Illustrator and with this image, would be gradients. But that would look like *bleep*. Right? Or is it simply drawing some more vectors and changing their opacity values? | |

| ::::::::::::::::::::::::: :. Location: this ain't kansas, toto | hi hu-man! i haven't had time to much play with illustrator myself (hope to get back w/it next year!), but it looks like YOU're off to a good start! her shoulder bag (purse) looks like it could use something. being almost the same hue & shade of the sea, it has this negative image look right now. (to me anyway) is she holding a pair of sandals? if so, some indication of straps might help the viewer to understand how she is holding those shoes... keep on rocking the vectors & please post your progress!
