I've already touched up the egdes that looked a bit frazzled.......... :D

Dizzet 11-08-2004 10:58 PM

Looks nice how big is it...

pinkie 11-09-2004 05:34 AM

2 1/2 feet wide, 3 feet tall. That's a terrible quality picture. It looks a lot better than that.

Dizzet 11-09-2004 06:48 AM

Well i think it looks really nice... with that picture

clavus 11-09-2004 08:34 AM

Pretty spectacular work, considering that you are painting with spaghetti sauce...

pinkie 11-09-2004 08:43 AM

Hahaha... Thanks. ;)

Dizzet - Thank you! :)

I really like the second version of your painting. The clean lines really do a lot for the overall impression. What does it say?

stonegrody 11-10-2004 02:25 PM

I like the paintings alot, very nice work!

How old is your sister? That 2nd card from the left on the second row looks a little porno :hmm:

Long Life.

Thank you... :)

And thank you, Stonegrody! That first pic was from my first day of painting. :D

She's 27. That's a picture of "birth" so, it's a bit graphic. It's for humor more than anything. She always sends me pictures of bloody hearts on my birthday saying, "Happy day of your bloody birth...” The heart meaning, "Love."

So, I'm keeping that alive. :)

 Ah, that explains it! Eye Love Ewe and Happy Birth Day! Okay, I'm a moron...

pinkie 11-10-2004 04:45 PM

You got it!! Yay!!! :)

powerclown 11-10-2004 05:24 PM

Count me in as a fan: Nice work!
Did you go to art school?
In the painting to your sister, do the hebrew letters spell something specific?

pinkie 11-10-2004 07:32 PM

I'm self-taught. I've been painting for about ten years. The Hebrew words mean unleavened bread, matzo, I’m guessing. The symbolism of Judaism in the painting signifies us (my sister and I) as women, wild at heart, but anchored to tradition by our family roots, even though we are nothing like them.

The chaotic silver spoons in the corner signify the chaos in our lives, even though we grew up in a wealthy family, the spoons were nowhere near our mouths.

powerclown 11-10-2004 07:51 PM

"Self-Taught"
Doubly impressive.
Yeah no one every said wealth equates to happiness. It can lead to some pretty interesting dysfunctions, though...

Thanks for posting these. Got more we can see?

pinkie 11-10-2004 08:48 PM

Yes, they sure can.

Thank you very much. :)

I posted a few in this thread... http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...ghlight=pinkie

I just LOVE the first painting. My bedroom has an asian theme to it, and that would look awesome hanging above my bed.

pinkie 12-02-2004 11:01 AM

Thank you sweetie. It's Japanese...
