Life in a Dying Nebula

I think I'm starting to get the hang of PSP 8. Seems to get a little easier each time I do this.

Nice job! Are you using anything else? Some kind of rendering program? If not, great detail on the moon! Do you have a high res version?

The background was done through a plug-in for PSP 8. But everything else was done in PSP 8.

I have a 1024x768 version which I set as the wallpaper on my computer since I liked it so much.

Very nice.
If you want to make your own stars and make some nice looking ones this site has an awesome tutorial.

I believe it also has a planet tutorial, I havent looked at it. But maybe you can pull a few tricks from it? Yours is already spectacular looking though. Esspecially the clouds, I'm jealous of them

Hail Space Wanderer!

I like your vision of a dying nebula.
Are these pictures of space involved in your science fiction writing?
I'd like to see a map of your known space.

I'm off to read that tutorial,

I assume everyone means paint shop pro or somthing by 'PSP8'? Wow.. I never knew people were making these images from scratch - or if it was even possible with these programs. That's amazing!

Giant Hamburger: These images are not from my science fiction writing, but rather inspired by my sci-fi writing.

BHabarow: Yes, it's created in Paint Shop Pro 8. Once you learn how to harness the power of the program it is easily possible to create images from scratch.
