realistic eye...

this is the most time i have ever spent drawing an eye... i have been working on this for 3 hours. im not sure if im even happy with it but here it is...

oh yea this has no effects or filters at all i just used the pencil tool and a lot of colors...

I think its excellent. JMO, but I think that the reflective glare is a bit too prominent.

heh well.. thats why its small.. the way it is done if you look at it close up it doesnt blend aswell... but here yah go...

hmm...i think the reason it bothers me is that it's not the shape of an eye, i would maybe do a shape of a real eye and do what you just did with that, i think it would look better and not so cartoony...unless that's what you're going for

Thats really good eyes have all sorts of shapes but mine they accidently dont always look straight lol.

I think its a good eye. the pink underlids show a concern for detail.

underlids...i think i just made up a new word.

btw...your enlarged image only loads about an eighth of the way for me....anyone else?

I agree. It looks like you've drawn a left eye and as such the tear duct should be on the right side...

Very nice try! It's pretty difficult just with crayons - they're fairly unforgiving and you have a set range of colours, although some can mix with water.

Learning to see is the hardest bit about observation! Maybe take a photo of your own eye with a macro lens, and see where you could improve it.

Keep working - it's a lifetime's journey!
