Tried and true: pen and paper

Here's a few of my drawings. I have found my best stuff is pen - nothing fancy. Photoshop distracts people with all of the fun tools and filters and lens flares, and ultimately keeps people from actually creating good art. Meh. Call my bluff. Anyway, here is some of my stuff. If you like it and tell me, I'll post more.

i just looked at your website.

your architectural drawings are nice.
you have a style that would lend itself nicely for etching works.

some fun stuff in your nonsense & fantasy sections.

I have to disagree about your photoshop statement, but your artwork is good.

i've seen better photoshop work than anything done traditionally, so i'd have to also dissagree with that statement

Don't get me wrong, photoshop is fun...if any of you have looked at my website, you'll see that i have done some of that stuff myself. I think it is a great tool - but i think a lot of people view it as a tool for creating art as opposed to manipulating preexisting art. It can add drawings or photos greatly, and do a lot of things that you just can't do by hand in the same way. The problem is when people become too dependent on the fun colors, filters, textures, etc without having anything actually interesting/creative to use it for. The same can obviously be said about any other medium.
But hey, prove me wrong!

no need to prove u wrong... when u r correct. it is a fun thing to play with... its called "photo"shop...

but enough about photoshop... we all use it, we all love it, and we all know it should not be used to create, but to edit... (well.. i guess it can be used for what ever you feel like....)

agian... really like that hand.

The stripped down art tools shows true talent. Those are really good. They have nice depth.
