i'm learning illustrator atm. someday... i want to learn flash as well.
i did play with a 30-day free trial of flash 4 back in november 2000. this is all i have to show from that:

have you ever tried photoshop?

IMO, Flash is superior to photoshop. I'm not into using "cool" effects and filters 'n stuff, at least not now.
