I didn't know where else to post this, so I think I'll start here and try my luck:

Does anyone know any programs similar to Photoshop that I can get for free off online? If so, could you please post working links to downloading the program? I would appreciate it veeery much if someone could post something! Thanks.

Try The GIMP . i think its still free and much like photoshop

phtoshop elements is substatially more affordable than photoshop. altho it's not free...

i started out with adobe photo deluxe, which came free with my scanner & also my printer a few yrs back. it was a great intro to photoshop, yet pretty darn good for achieving similar effects. it use to sell for like $30-40, but i'm not sure if it's still marketed or not. perhaps elements has replaced photo deluxe... dunno?
