Copic Airbrush question
No, I'm not posting original art here, but I thought this would be the best place to ask -
Does anyone have any experience with the Copic Airbrush? It looks too funky to actually work, but if it DOES work well, it would be sweet! http://www.howtodrawmanga.com/htcopic/htcopair001.html So, do these things work, or what? Thanks! |
Looks just like a normal airbrush to me mate except the setup is a little different.. where as the ink comes from a pen and the air from the bottle underneath.. O_o
I think I used to have something like this as a kid.. cept it was a little blow bottle that you squeezed.. hehe.. Might just have to wait for some useful advice Clavus :) |
I don't have any first hand experience with these, but after reading this thread last week, I decided to find out what I could about it.
All I've found out so far is that it must work at least a little, because they carry them at the art store I frequent here in town, and if it was a useless toy, I doubt that they'd have it there. Anything past that, I don't know. Hope this helps a little. |
I've been searching too. I have yet to find anyone who actually used one. It leads me to believe it just might suck.

it kinda looks like a blo pen with an air can
aircans are the most expensive way to airbrush outside of the very infrequent user. as far as i can see its a single action trigger, so only airflow, which isn't suprising given the medium I guess if you wanted to do a style of drawing that was similar to using a marker pen with a little more control it'd be good But if you wanted to really get into airbrushing, you'd outgrow it very quickly |
all i know is that copic markers are the shit, and if you ever get the chance to pick them up, do it.
