Fisrt Scanned doodle
Here's a doodle i did at work along time ago..
Someone finish it.. or make a wallpaper of it for me.. http://www.angelfire.com/on4/tbgossi...s/biogirl4.jpg |
Different...but certainly intriguing.
If thats just a doodle, im impressed, I dont know if I could draw something like that after hours of brain storming.
thanks man.. I have this problem where i can never finish a drawing, i wouldnt mind learing how to add some color in photoshop or whatever
THATS A DOODLE??!
Fuck, screw my stick figures then :( Nice work, hehe. |
what's to finish on it? it kinda looks like flash art.
I;ve done alot of flash art for friends and what not, even started tattooing a bit myself. Id really like to start getting into air brushing a bit, that looks fun, then i could paing up all my things

Here's the other ones from the same time period..
They we're all done in about 20-30 mins.. Sitting at work, tech support. Had to pass the time some how. http://www.angelfire.com/on4/tbgossip/images/MSN2.jpeg http://www.angelfire.com/on4/tbgossi.../buickgirl.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/on4/tbgossip/images/car.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/on4/tbgossip/images/faces.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/on4/tbgossip/images/fairy.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/on4/tbgossi...es/fingerz.jpg Let me know what ya think. |
hehehe good stuff. that fingers one is funny as hell
haha i love the emoticon coming off the head of the killing robot, very nice
i like the jiffy lube reference in the second one..
Jiffy Lube? There's a jiffy lube reference? If you are refering to the Turbo Six, its the logo for the Grand National/T-Type. Kinda like a 6, made out of arrows.. for turbo or something. it means fast anyway
:p |
cool stuff. especially the skulls in the first one.
jiffy lube is funnier and hip. turbo six is so 1984. BTW, where are the dragon sketches? chicks, skulls, cars...no dragons?
Wow man. I really like your style. Have you ever considered being an artist for a gaming company or something like that? From what I've seen you're on par with every story board sketch or concept drawing I've ever seen.
yeah, sorry about the jiffy lube comment.. that would be a backwards j regardless. i guess i wasn't thinking right.. but i think the jiffy lube symbol is very similar to that. i just thot it would be kind of funny if you had..sorta what pulley was talking about.
I saw Jiffy Lube from the icon. Just shows how stupid TV commercials and advertising are pounded into us...
Hey, id love to do something like that but i wouldnt even know how to start. Im froma smaller town and theres absolutly nothing like that even mentioned around here. If you have and info let me know. As for the jiffy lube, I made that into t-shirts.
yea Turbo 6 is so 84 to 87 but i owned one (teach me to go get hit and not have insurance) And are still one of the best machines to ever hit the market. I mean, 13 sec stock from a v6 in a luxury sedan = awesome and comfortable. Quote:

Awsome work man.. heh and I dont know why but I have problems with finishing stuff as well.. i'm not sure why but I like the look of half finished stuff (though your stuff looks pretty complete=P )
the first one is really really cool. great job!
Very cool stuff! The face one with all the wires and such is incredible. The teeth and wires work together and it overall really clicks I guess. And like said above, most of your stuff looks pretty finished already.

Oh yeah, it would also help a lot if you have a passion for gaming. You might also want to know how to use some industry tools like Photoshop or even some 3D rendering software. That would definately work to your advantage. |
Wheeeeeeeeee, i love gaming, Alot...
Im gunna look into that stuff, and relocating, not a problem. |
you have a good style, you may need to study anatomy a tad to get porportions right, but in all, i like it :)

I'll post when finished. |
Sweet! I love it.
I really like the Faces.jpg, that's pretty sweet!
If you want to get into Game Art, you most definately HAVE to know how to use Maya or 3dS max... i'm pretty sure no one is going to just hire a pencil. Also, you're going to have to bone up on your anatomy, because that's another must for game artists. Your stuff definately looks like Tatooing material... Alot of people in this forum could pull off being a game artist, but the thing is... u guys have to know how to model, texture and animate shit, and that's some hard shit. |
