Some of my paintings

Hi. I never like posting my work for some reason, but i've been getting an inkling to start making art more. Most of these are old and the newest were done a year ago... Haven't picked anything up since. Maybe this will inspire me to start.. little step at a time.

so in order from new to old:

those are GREAT!!!!! I don't know why you're shy about sharing them. I like the first, but then again, I love snow scenery...

I really like the first one as. The ominous sky offset by the cozy little cabin, I love such a contrast. I also like the last one.

I'm not sure why you are so shy about these paintings...expecially the first one...every painting shows progress and how you are developing as an artist..i love the last one...i'm curious to see what you come up with for your next painting...the first one reminds me of an oil painting my parents have at my house. Keep it up! They look great!

thank you for the compliments. I guess I have a hard time with receiving attention, and accepting compliments in general. That's why it's weird to me to post these...

I like the last one. It reminds me of those old-fashioned post cards from the 20s

OMG, they are too good to be hidden from your friends!
While the first one looks magnificient, you must be a gem of an artist to bring FACE EXPRESSIONS so well on your painting!

Holy cow, I like that second one.

But seriously, these are full of emotion. I like the mother-daughter one. Is that based on a photo from childhood?

yes, this was based on a photo of my grandma and baby cousin at the time. It's interesting you got the gender correct because someone else said father/son :-D
