didn't turn out exactly like I wanted it to, but I was on a deadline so I'll leave it at being pretty much happy with it.
Would have wanted the head to connect more to the body, seems a bit out of place I think.

I like how a part of the snake breaks free from the outer border. Inspiring work, whether it turned out how you wanted or not!

Good stuff. Getting better all the time.

Try softening / eliminating the line behind the jaw, so the head is visually connected to the body. That might give you the effect you want.

good layering and over lapping to give it depth
