decorating birth control pill cases
 

A little background first.... I went to the doctor today and she put me on the pill, first time to the gyno and first time using the pill. She gave me two months worth of it to get me started and a prescription.

So Im sitting here tonite with the pill case sitting there on my desk and Im like it seems so medical looking, its not fun or colorful so I went online to the ortho tri-cyclen site to look up some information, and what do i find? "designer pill cases" so I was like "Wow these are kinds cute maybe I'll get one." I get ready to order one and I thought to myself...."How much do these cost?" Turns out after tax and shipping it would come out to $8.55, that seemed a little too much for pill case.

But anyways! Long story short I was wondering if any of you ladies ever thought of or had decorated their pill cases to make them look more appealing, I'm trying to think of how to decorate it right now. I'll post pics of the finished product if I ever decide what to do. :)

Nope, I never have. I guess if it was lying around where people would actually see it then maybe I would get a pill case, but since it spends 99% of it's time in my purse I have no use for it to be cute. Plus the pill I am on right now comes in a small rectangular lilac colored case with silver around the edges. Thats about as cute as its gonna get!

I'd try nail polish or acrylic paint. Or puff paint. Or those sticky jewels. Or stickers. LoL. I think I just might have to decorate my case too...

I know lots of girls around here who decorate theirs. I'm not among them, but that's mostly because I keep losing my case...

Using glitter glue would be cute too. I've kinda thought about it, but rejected the idea as being childish and stupid...I guess I was just reading too much into it.

I guess since mine stay in my bathroom I never thought about it :lol: mine come in a little black fold over pouch thing that looks like a business card holder

well, so far, i put those little stick on crystals on it, i need to find some glitter glue now.....hmmm

Well damnit, i never even thought about decorating my case!

umm it's funny, I've never even had a case. The pill I buy comes in a little closable pack, that's rectangular. I was looking at these designer cases and thinking, that's really nice, but how do the pills fit in there? :p

I decorated mine by sticking on a little symbol: a silhouette of a pregnant woman in a red circle with a line through it. I still have the case somewhere, even though I had my tubes tied.
