Your Favorite Perfumes
I'm on a perfume search. I want to buy some new perfume, but I can't seem to make up my mind. In my collection so far I have Heavenly by Victoria Secret, Adidas for her, Love Spell by Victoria Secret and Butterfly by Avon. With those in mind could anyone recommend a few new scents I might like? I'm also curious to know if anyone has tried Realm? It contains pheromones and I was curious as to how it smelled. Thanks a bunch!

I have tried Realm and it's got all the base notes that I like Vanilla, Citrus, Lily, and Sandalwood - sandalwood I can take in only small doses but it works in this scent. It's not overpowering, but I also wouldn't call it an evening scent - it's fine for daytime for evenings I like Anna Sui's Sui Dreams, it's got a soft scent that also doesn't assault the nose and has a lot of the same base notes as Realm does
There's also another one Inner Realm, which I haven't seen yet, that is supposed to boost self confidence and such-- I'll believe that one when I see it.... My current daytime scent that anyone who's within a foot or so of me always loves is Jo Malones Grapefruit - it's a nice clean citrus scent that's doesn't overpower at all.

For day - "today I decided, is going to be different" by Jafra
It's a soft, soapy, right-out-of-the-shower smell. I spray this on my wrists and between my breats. for night - "Sensi" by Giorgio Armani A sweet fragrance that can be overpowering if you use too much. But if you spritze just the right amount it smells great. This only goes along my hair line. That is the perfect amount of perfume right there.

I like Lucky You (for her, obviously). And strangely enough the cheapo Exclimation perfume, it takes me back to when I was a kid and I thought my cousin was so grown up - she used to wear it, so it's a smell I associate with comfort and love.
In the last year I've gotten over my obsession with men's colonge. I used to wear Eddie Bauer's Adventurer and Aspen. I'm a weirdo though. :P

My absolute favorite is Belara, I think Mary Kay makes it. I also like Acqua di Gio for women, and Charlie Red.
Does anyone remember Ghost Myst? I got some for Christmas a while back, and I remember it smelling lovely...crackprogram was going to buy me some for my birthday one year, and NONE of the salespeople had even heard of it.

Ghost Myst
I know I've seen the bottle, cause it's a pretty color - but have not seen it in the stores, since it's Coty - -my guess is that it never made it to department stores with perfume counters but probably more stores with self serve departments, like Cosmetics Plus or even Kohls.

I wear fragrance oils- and I sell them. The kind I sell are very strong and I have over 300 different kinds, including perfume-types.
I really like coconut, sometimes fruity if I'm in the mood, I have this one kind which I usually wear, it's called Egyptian Musk- and I don't like musk, it's not really musky at all- it's very soft. I also like minty smells. |

aww. no one has said my favorite perfume yet.
normally, i don't like perfume especially stronger ones. fragrances can be overwhelming to my nose.but i found one recently that i think works for me and i suprisingly like. it's called dolly girl by anna sui. it comes in a really neat pink bottle too :-D i also have tommy girl (way too strong, never use it) and some sort of candies perfume (orange bottle) but they were both presents. i don't really like either of them. i'm very picky with perfume.

Crabtree & Evelyn - "Lilly of the Valley"
I love how it smells. It's the perfume that I've gotten the most compliments on and only from people I've been close to in proximity so I know it's not too strong. I've actually had no comments on some other kinds that I've tried. Second most favorite is Rare Gold from Avon. I haven't gotten as many compliments and it doesn't smell as "finished" to me as the other. Third most is Oil of Cloves. It can be irritating to the skin but in small amounts it actually has the same kind of pain relieving effect of Ben Gay without the Ben Gay oder.

Um...there's soo many perfumes I've not smelled (many of the newer ones and such...) but I've always been fond of scents. I tend towards pink flowery fruity girly type stuff. I love and wear VS Pink, and in the summer I will be wearing Cool Water for Women. and I always have a bottle of CK One on hand, for those 'basic' kinda days. On my wishlist, if I could splurge on perfume... YSL BabyDoll Creed Spring Flower Jean Paul Gautier (the original one) Chanel Chance RL Romance (womens and mens) maybe Fracas (never smelled it, but so many times I've been tempted to just buy it anyways) And something with a nice rose note, nfi what tho. Perhaps CK Eternity Rose Blush (still avail on eBay). ...Ok, I'll stop now.

A great one to try is also Cool Water for Woman....love that smell. But my signature scent is vanilla oil (by body shop) on wrists and behind ears, mixed with 'hawaiian ginger' body spray by Calgon on legs and tummy....makes you smell great all day.....

You'd probably love Anna Sui's line of fragrances - her signature scent is flowery, very feminine and just a little powdery (but not in a FDS sort of way) Anti Fishstick mentioned a newer one as well. Anna Sui started life as an lingerie designer, that kind of feminity comes thru in her fragrances. Sephora usually carries her complete line, it's a great place to check out different scents (though I always buy them online -saves a fortune -- I think it's perfume emporium, that keeps track of your purchases and rewards you w ith points for free stuff.

i've been wearing ici for years now, every now and then i change things up a bit with jasmine from bath and body, or some other nice soft scent. ici is a mix of vanilla, creme brule or however that is spelled and some other basic things
and i am really interested in body oils, never thought about it before and i bet it lasts longer so that you don't have to overdose or put perfume on twice in a day.......and lick me all over or sex on the beach definately sound interesting

Intuition by Estée Lauder is probably the favorite
So_De_La_Renta by Oscar De La Renta comes next and I loved Tresor by Lancome, until my grandmother asked for it for Christmas and said it was her favorite. The scent sort of lost it's appeal after that for whatever reason.
