Hobbies
I started this thread on here before TFP went down and there were some great responses, so I wanted to start it again. I love hearing about your hobbies and they get me inspired. SO I would love to hear them all again, if you don't mind.
Mine is Candlemaking. I own a small business and I am trying to get it going good...I have many customers and most of my business has been coming from local school fundraisers. I love to make candles and I can duplicate almost any scent you can imagine. I also do scrapbooking for my kids, I enjoy making their pictures and all their life adventures something that they can keep and cherish for a lifetime. I hope to hear all your interests soon! |
Fencing.... nothing like stabing some guy in his ego!!

I love to read.
I enjoy astrology. I collect teddy bears. I also love Greek mythology I know how to embroider also.... many others ...I like to dabble in many areas I just got a tarot deck not to long ago too :) |
I like to read(espec. cheesy romance novels), love to write(espec. cheesy romance novels), like to do research(any kind! I'm a nerd.), like to cook, but more importantly like to eat. I like music, spirituality, and studying. I spend a lot of free time at the library. :) My main hobby, though, is definitely reading, although some might say it's actually sleeping ;)

Reading is great
I would watch just about every movie ever made if I could :) But mostly, I"m always doing music od some sort. Of course, it is my major, but I've been singing my whole life before I decided to make it a career, so its really a hobby I guess :) |
/me codes, although that's not a hobby so much as a future career. I just recently got sucked into Dungeons and Dragons, with a friend. it's surprisingly fun. :) i have my own dice and everything. :)

Hehe... welcome to D&D cherrios... or, more generally, to RPing. I play "Other Suns", which is an anthropomorphic RP.
And, when I'm not doing that, I'm drawing, working with my dogs, or taking horse-riding lessons. The Roo |
Cool Booga, I don't meet many people who have a clue as to what anthropomorphism means!!!!
I don't know if you can call it a hobby really but my love is football. I was raised on it by my big brother, started a ladies league & played for a few years then did statistics for the men's league...oh ya, that wasn't any fun :) all those guys running about ....sorry - daydreaming there for a minute! Besides that, I love the outdoors, camping & hiking and I'm happiest out in my garden (my stress reliever). |
Do I have to admit to playing too much Everquest again?
Reading, puzzles, crosswords and other brainwork, quilting when I get space again, basket weaving. It's getting to be spring/summer, so have been planting flowers, I'm not going to maintain them, that's up to my mother in law, but it's fun to get out in the dirt sometimes. I'm hoping to add exercise with my husband (besides sex *smirks*) to our list of hobbies. We could both stand to lose some baby fat, me from having them, him from staying home with me instead of taking off to the gym when I was all emotional and clingy. |
yes, you have to admit that you're still addicted to evercrack ;) thanks Booga, this's my first pen and paper, but i've done some tabletop before now, so it's not COMPLETELY foreign. :)

Computers, writing, cooking and soapmaking. I've been branching out into creams, lotions and spa type items. I don't sell it..just give it as gifts and for my own use.

Wow...all you ladies have some great hobbies!
I play guitar, read, play on the computer...I really like to read forums. I also like to listen to music and find new bands that I've never listened to or heard of. I love to spend time watching movies, especially those with subtitles...and most recently I've started watching some anime. I also like to play a little sand volleyball in the summer. That's mostly b/c of social interaction and beer drinking. :D |
I used to play Rpg's before I got married and had a kid. Now pretty much I hang out at the computer. If I get the urge I'll do baking (experiment with new recipies) or try to finish my first quilt that I've started. I've got half the squares pieced together and it's a queen sized quilt. I'm pretty proud of myself. I love puzzles too. My girl is not quite three but has already learned to do some puzzles with me too.
