What do you like about yourself, physically?
It seems that, while women can be quick to compliment another woman's looks, we're twice as quick to trash our own...sometimes in the same breath ("oh, you have great legs! Mine are so gross, though.")
Here's a thread where you compliment yourself. I don't want to hear "I don't like anything," or "well, this is cool, but........" You're all awesome. Tell us why. What do you particularly like, in a physical sense, about yourself? I'll start-- I absolutely love my eyes. I normally just say they're green, but depending on how the light hits them, they look green, blue, grey, or some combination of the three. There's also a ring of gold around my irises... I definitely have unusual eyes. I also love my eyelashes...don't even need to wear mascara, which is pretty awesome. Your turn :) |
Since I've been cycling and running a lot, I'm loving the legs I'm developing. And my butt. My legs are a lot more shapely and toned, so they look STRONG. My butt has narrowed a little, but pops out a lot more in the back, so I have a bit of a booty. My boyfriend loves that, too.
I also like my sides, my hips, the curve from my waist to my hips, my hands, my feetses (if they didn't hurt so much from running, I'd like them even more), and my neck/shoulders/collarbone area. The more I work out, the more satisfied I am with my body. I'd love for my skin to be blemish-free, my hair to grow out faster, and to have prettier facial features.. but I don't really think about those things that often anymore. I'm working on what I can work on, and as I see improvement from working out I think about the rest less and less. |
Was this inspired by our conversation in chat last night about what we would fix if we could?
I love my boobs, my ass, and my legs. I got tits and ass that just don't quit. I love a lot about myself, to be honest. I can be pretty vain :p When it comes to my legs, I really love my quads and calves. I love my lips, and how they look cute and pouty. I love love love my feet. I think they are so adorable. I also like my coloring--I like that I have dark hair and pale skin. In fact, I try to stay as pale as possible (again, vanity, as I don't want to get wrinkly). |
My eyes. That's it. :)
|
I have a nice butt. I like my slender wrists and soft hands. I have a fairly full mouth that I think is rather attractive. I have a birthmark on the top of my foot that makes me unique and I love it. I have my grandma's smooth skin and coloring - she's half Cherokee, I don't know if that's where it came from but I have her to thank her for it.

Something else I like -- my neck, and the curve of my collarbone. Especially since I've lost weight... it just looks so...I don't know...feminine. I have a new appreciation for v-neck shirts, now :) |
I like my eyes, eyebrows and lips.
RJ, how could you not put your lips?!?! They are luscious! |

No, no, no. None of that! :p

Your teeth are fine, and besides with those lips, no one is looking at your teeth darlin'.
|
I love being tall...the rest I've learned to live with.
|
I'm 44 years old and truly love my body for the first time in my life. I've always had these great legs that I inherited from my mom and my face has certain qualities that people have always called pretty - even though I could only see it sometimes. And I've always thought I have elegant hands. But I never liked my butt, boobs, or feet.
Now I pretty much love everything about my looks or, rather, I feel extremely comfortable inside my own skin now. I think that has a lot to do with what you see when you look in the mirror. |
I am absolutely in love with my hair and eyes. I don't really fuss with my hair much, but I don't really need to.
|
I love my eyes. And that my wrists are relatively skinny. I love the shape of my feet and the high arches, though the toes are a little hilariously misshapen. They're a testament to my uncoordination, which is fine with me. I like my hair sometimes...
|
I like my mouth and I like my breasts. But that's it. I'm a very short person living in a tall person's world. :)

I never thought of all of that! :)
The guys that I work with like to "adjust" the motion monitors that open the doors. I end up having to jump and wave my way through. I also hate having to be the front one with the children in all of the family picture taking. But it is a trivial grievance, to be sure. |
Ooo, fun thread.
I do love my hands. Strong enough to get work done, though graceful, slender, and ladylike. They are big, though, compared with the rest of me - which is something I used to hate. I realize now that it's more of a blessing than a curse. I like my metabolism. I seem to have figured it out, and am able to eat a lot of what I love (veggies!) while still requiring some physical activity to keep me as trim as I'd like - a good inscentive to stay fit. |
My hair and my nails. I like that I can have long nails naturally.
|
I had a moment the other day that made me think of this thread... I was getting ready for work, and happened to glance up as I was passing by the mirror. I won't get into what I normally see, or what I normally have problems with, since that isn't the point of this thread.
But...for an instant...my hair fell perfectly. Makeup was good. I was wearing a tank and a pair of boyshorts, and they seemed like they were cut exactly for my body. Everything was right, and for once, I didn't see anything I wanted to change. I smiled, and it was like, "whoa...I actually feel pretty!" It was a totally great feeling. |
---------- Post added at 03:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:01 PM ---------- Oh oh - and my hoochie. Some womenz look like Arby's roast beef. And some get really bad razor burn. I do get it on occasion but I've mastered how to get rid of it. So yah, it's gorgeous, if I say so myself. :o |

The other list is much longer
Symmetry and proportion. Nothing really is unusually large or weird on my body, except for my big round ass, which I like.
Classic face. High eyebrows. High contrast between skin tone and hair. High cheekbones, tiny little nose...yes, babies....i've got it all! Cute feet. Expressive, elegant hands. I've been told that I have "beautiful" private parts, too. But I'm sure all men say this, when in the presence of ANY private parts. Damn hot, in everyway. I do not disappoint. |
This thread is wonderful for the narcissistic!
I have good bone structure. My skin is wonderful. My adolescence was acne free. Beautiful bluish-grey eyes. Beautifully shaped eyebrows that take minimal maintenance. I am tall and I like it. I'm all legs, and it's sweet. I have awesome calf muscles. My big crooked nose is my favorite though. It got it from my pops. |
I quite like my legs, breasts, hands and wrists, and eyes and eyelashes.
I am short but have thin, shapely legs. My breasts are small but perky and a nice shape. My hands are slender and I have long fingers. My wrists are thin, not sure why I like that. My eyes are a nice shape and quite big, and I have mega-long eyelashes. |
I've found over the years that I love my legs and ass.
They kinda always rock. That and since I'm short, it's all i got really |
I like my eyes, which sound very much like CinnamonGirl's. When I cry, they turn a beautiful shade that can only be call turquoise. Too bad the whites are red.
As for the rest of me, I like my hair. I have lots of it, so I have hope it won't be to thin as I age. It's also curly, which I used to hate since straight hair is in style more often than not, but I've learned to embrace it. I also found great products and a good stylist. Oh, and I finally like my boobs. I have a large B, smallish C, but always wished they were bigger. Not so much now. |
Nice thread!
From the ground up: I have very dainty feet. Size 5. Makes it hard to find shoes, but when I do they're killer cute. I have a nice ass. I use to lament its size, but it's a very nice, generous heart-shaped bum and it makes many (usually non-white) men turn around and look. I have a very little waist. Which sets off the bum. I used to hate my boobs for being so small, but the upside of that is that they're extremely perky. I like my shoulders. I have a very nice back-shoulder-neck area. I'm not a big fan of any individual piece of my face, but when you put them all together the effect is sometimes quite nice :) |
My Thick THICK hair, which is naturally stick straight.
My proportions - I've definitely got curves, and now that I've gained more muscle tone its really a nice hour sleek glass figure that is tons of fun to rock a sexy dress in. |
I love my hair! It is so easy to style, and it doesn't seem to hold a grudge from the years I spent trying different hair colors.
|
My other list is a lot longer, too
I like my eyes a lot. If I wear blue, they are super blue. If I wear green, they are super green. In anything else, they are a smoky blue-gray. I also have naturally long lashes, which help set off the eyes.
I have a cute nose, and lips that will never need collagen. I have nice hands with good nails, and also have dainty feet, as someone else put it. Other than that, not much since I've gained weight, but one thing I'll give weight gain is that it's good for the cleavage. :p |
everything.
you could like everything about yourselves too. |
I like my hair. Won't hold a curl for the life of me, but it's nice and thick.
|
Definitely needed this thread today, oh my. We TFP ladies need to remember every once in a while that even on a bad day, the things that make us gorgeous are uniquely ours and that nothing- not illness, not other people, and not bad hair days- can ever truly take them away. That said, physical vanity definitely helps sometimes. :P
Three great things that people usually notice about my appearance: I have a ton of fine, golden-red hair, and it is ridiculously soft. Stately shoulders, tapered waist. Sea-blue eyes with tilty tops and long sharp corners. I have many less-pleasing features, but we're skipping those. |
|
I hope it's not in a jar!
|
I used to be very proud of my legs until my accident, but I'm working on getting them back into shape.
Without a doubt, I'd have to say my breasts are my most oustanding feature. 36DD, not really drooping (yet) for something that big. Unfortunately they top a disgusting gut.... My nails-being lazy has its rewards. My hair-sometimes it's a pain in the ass, but only 4 or so gray hairs on me it's got a natural wave and it's thick. The color is weird ( i get "accused" of dyeing it)-it's brown indoors but shines bright red in th sun. |
Being tall is probably what I like the most about myself. I am 5'10".
If you asked my husband he would without a doubt say my ass is the best. |
iiiiiiiiiii
|
I like my eyes and my lips and my jawline. Overall I do like my body much more now than a year ago. The work from going back to the gym has paid off and I am much happier as a result. Sure it was only 10 to 15 pounds...but to me that was a lot. I look to maintain it :) I'm learning to stay out of the sun as well...I want to avoid wrinkles.
|
My eyes, legs and hair are my best/sexiest features. In the past year I've lost a decent amount of weight so I'm liking my body a lot better.
|
Everything! Especially my green eyes and long legs.
|
I love my lips and my butt.
|
my boobs, I have perfect boobs . I check out my own boobs everyday .
I have nice eyes , good hair . nice nails . Im having trouble loving the other stuff but I am a pretty chick . sigh . |
my eyes
|
My eyes and my back, weird I know...but I LOVE my back :]
|
I've been sick the past couple of weeks, and I haven't been thinking too clearly. It has made me appreciate my mind, the ability to think and to reason critically, as well as the ability to understand aassimilateate complex theories. Yes, I love to run and the strength that provides, my eyes and all they are able to read and interpret, my heart and it's ability to love. I so love my face, and how everytime I look in the mirror I am surprised at what I see, since I don't feel that person is a reflection of my inner self, yet I love it just the same. I love my fingers and their thin, feminine nimble beauty with their true strength hidden from view.
|
my butt is my best feature and always gets commented on but i also love my high cheekbones, slim legs and small waist partially due to my Serbian blood
however my sacral bone structure, in the small of the back, which i love isn't generic. it's so pronounced, an Amercian professor wanted to use it as an illustration for one of his text books but unfortunately, men generally call a pronounced sacral bone structure dimples  my fingernails are also always commented on (they call me the 'cat woman' at work) so the years of attention they've received has paid off :) when i was young and stupid, i'd despair over my small bust because i was too naive to appreciate how it's in proportion with my height and weight. but now that i've realised this, when i see other women the same as my weight and height with a smaller bust, i'm as grateful as the men (and women) that tell me i have a great bust and body to boot apparently i also have a great smile and beautiful brown eyes but i don't see them |

Ten years ago I was a dancer, more specifically a stripper, and I made a pile of money shaking those boobs. There was this "adult talent scout" at one of the clubs who told me that I had "world class tits" and could make it big in porn and he wanted to audition me. Right.:paranoid: In the adult industry I'd now be what they call a MILF, and I don't even have any kids! In my current job I manage information and investments, I get paid for what I know, my analytical and communication skills, my mental abilities. Those should improve, and last a good deal longer than anybody's world class tits. But I'll take all the help I can get. When I was first hired as a part-time file clerk several years ago I knew exactly what that manager guy was trying to pretend he wasn't looking at. Lindy |
I love my legs- they're on the thicker side but muscular, I get compliments on them all the time :) I love my luscious, soft lips and my breats. I have a cute little bubbly butt, however I wouldn't mind if it got a bit bigger :) I love my collarbone area after I've lost some weight, it's nice to see there.
|
I have an incredible vagina. She is very tight and loves pleasure. She has her quirks. She doesnt like long things put in her. She likes lots of vibrations and movement. If she could talk she would say "you have been so good to me, Missus" and if she wore anything it would be spurs....
|
I love my boobs.....They are DDD(all natural).....I love the way they fill out any shirt I am wearing. Plus my bf adores them.....I still catch him checking them out when he thinks I'm not paying attention.....I also love my hair, it's really long(to my tailbone), Wavy, and red....I have complete strangers approach me all the time and tell me how beautiful my hair is.....
|
Love this thread.
Nice to hear from the long legged ladies. I am 5'11" with a 36" inseam; all legs. And I love them. My BF is 5'10" and he loves me to wear 3 inch heels - totally gets off on it. Now there's a secure man! I love my hair, too. Decently thick, not much gray for my age and just the right amount of wave so it's easy to cut and style. I had waist length hair for 22 years of my life and enjoyed it but am glad I cut it shorter. Am really enjoying my eyes the last few years. They started out pretty regular brown when I was a kid but have since lightened to a nice green color and I have such fun putting on makeup to draw attention to them. |
My hair is #1. It was always thick, but used to be flat and straight. Now that it has a significant amount of gray, it has TONS of body, as gray just doesn't lay there limp. I color the gray, and it seems to get even more body. I recently woke from a nap when a friend knocked on the door, and she asked if I had just done my hair. I thought it was kind of funny. My eyes are probably #2. They used to be #1, back when my hair was limpy.

My clavicles. They seem to be one of the first places I notice weight loss. I can see just enough of them and I love the way they look. :hearts:

Ok, I'll play. :)
I'm a fan of my ears and my hands. Weird tangent—I enjoy making the vein on the back of my left hand jump over my tendons when I move my index and middle fingers. I've always liked the color of my eyes (green), even though my eyesight is the pits. I've also learned to love my hair. When I was younger—after I grew out of my tomboy bowl cut—it was long and straight but very thick (I, like everyone else I knew, coveted straight, smooth, shiny hair). Whenever I left it down it resembled, to me, a very undesirable head triangle, so I wore it in a ponytail all the time. At some point in high school it turned curly and in college I cut it shorter and actually started showing off the curls. I kept getting it cut shorter until some lady at a Great Clips butchered it beyond repair, and I had a legit excuse to shave it, for the first time. So I really like my head shaved, and I like the shape of my head. |
I love my teeth, I like my lips. I have really nice eyes and really nice thick hair.
