Me too! I have seen her on Broadway 3 times! (Aida, Rent, Wicked) I wish I could go see her on tour, but she's not coming anywhere around here! :sad:

Please tell me you've seen RENT? If you haven't, drop what you're doing and go rent it. Don't just watch it on your TV via surf the channel or whatever, actually spend the 6 bux and rent it. Its worth it.

Rent on Broadway was... awesome. There's really no other word for it. I saw most of the original cast, except Angel and Benjamin (really upset I didn't get to see Taye Diggs!). The show was amazing, though. Definitely one of my top five... maybe the best as far as just performances go. (I've seen about 50 Broadway shows.)

There is a 'Rent - Filmed Live on Broadway' DVD, which is good. It's none of the original cast, but some of them come out at the end to sing Seasons of Love. I can't remember if Idina was on the DVD or not.

As far as a showcase for Idina, though, Wicked took the cake. Kristen Chenowith was awesome, too, but Idina totally stole the show, and not just because she was the lead. :thumbsup:

You know I havn't seen Wicked yet! I JUST found out that Idina plays Elphaba, literally JUST. But it's funny becuase I've wnated to see it for hte past year, ever since onr of my favorite Drag Queens sang "Popular" at last years Drag Show. Did Idina sing Popular? I can't tell/remember.

Kristen Chenowith (Galinda) sang Popular to Elphaba. The best song Elphaba does is Defying Gravity, imo, but the whole soundtrack is really good. Neither of them is in the show anymore, though. Kristen is currently in Promises, Promises with Sean Hayes, which was a very cute show, and Idina is on tour. Wicked is still a great show, though. :thumbsup:

Just ask who she likes, and she might say no one (not wanting to just tell you straight up) and ask you who you like (this is where you tell her) and you just tell her well.. you! and she'll probably like you back..well it seems like you have a good chance.

That's definitely true on my end. I much prefer "well-scrubbed" and outdoorsy-looking to glam girls.
