The Best jeans for you!
Alrighty gals, we all know the horrific amount of time and effort spent on finding the right pair of jeans for our particular body types--often without success. I know I'm very often frustrated in my seach for jeans that have enough room for my curves, but acutally taper in to a waist, but are long enough in the leg...blah blah blah.
Apparantly, our woes have come to an end, thanks to zafu.com. You go to the site, input your requirements and preferences, and it searches a database and comes up with six of the best options for you, in a variety of prices. I was pleased to see that the number one option for me, I already own! And yes, they are by far the best (and most expensive--but worth it) pair I've ever worn. Quote:

It came up with 17 styles for me ... I haven't ever tried any of the brands it came up with - now if I can just find a job where I can justify buying a new pair of jeans before I buy more work pants that are in desperate need of replacing.
Thanks for the link Sultana! |
They gave me 45 pairs!
One of which was a pair that I own and love already (Gap Curvy flared) Cute site! |
I got four pairs... one of which was Gap Original Boot Cut- which I've worn for FOREVER but can't buy in the stores anymore because they changed their jeans line AGAIN (grrrrr!).
This is an awesome site tho.. thanks for sharing! |
man gloria vanderbilt still makes jeans? lol I havent worn those since high school
I wish they used pictures of people that didnt (IMO) look like they need to eat a sandwhich I never heard of a lot of these, fortunately they listed the Levi's I already wear and only pay 22 bucks for a Kohl's. I have a feeling a lot of these arent cheap. and NO WAY IN HELL will I ever buy lee jeans again in my life, they are the worst for shrinking up at the ankles and the zippers busting |
They suggested jeans that I've tried and looked weird in, not to mention I would NEVER pay $148 for a pair of freakin' jeans!
I work for a western wear retailer and we sell mostly Wrangler jeans with a few Seven and Silvers mixed in for the kiddies. The style I wear most is the jean made by Wrangler but it's under their brand called Aura. I wear the regular rise in the Aura jeans and my butt doesn't fall out of my pants when I bend down. The Aura line has three different rises, and five lengths ranging from 30" to 36". They also have stretch! I love them because they don't stretch out and look all funky after one wear which some jeans do. Wrangler is also making a line that's outside of their traditional lines. It's meant for the younger generation but everyone can wear them. Their low rise is low in the front but comes up higher in the back to eliminate the plumber's crack. I love em'. |
I have worn the Gap's Long and Lean stretch jeans for a few years and I have never found another kind that fit me as well. The zafu thing didn't pull them up and many of the ones they did were waaaay too expensive for me. I buy mine used on eBay most of the time. :)

They picked "Forenza Stretch Jeans" for my #1....I've heard that brand before...but can't remember what store sells Forenza?? Ring a bell to anyone?

Sultana, that is an interesting site. However, they don't have my favorite jeans so I'll just stick with what I know. Benetton have the best jeans for me after my long search. I have a really hard time looking for any pants because I have no hips. So I'm either in the way low-rise junior jeans or the hippy misses jeans. It's frustrating so I decided to end the search and just hope these jeans never fall apart. :D I got lucky by finding them for really cheap so I got 2 pair. I love unreal deals. Of course, JJ got me some Old Navy jeans for Christmas that look cool off so we'll see when I try them on after I open them up if they look as cool on. No, I didn't snoop, we just happened to be out together and saw an awesome sale we couldn't resist. |
