Hmm...I don't recall a name for them, but my daughter, who's 14, might know-they were still doing those when she was in jr. high.

I don't remember a name for them either.

I do remember that I loved to play that game called MASH--MASH standing for Mansion, Apartment, Shack, or House.

The wikipedia entry also includes a link to play MASH online!

SWEET! A vacation home is in my future!

I think we just called it a fortune teller. We used to make them all the time

snowy...I loved MASH too. I haven't thought of these games in years!

Nostalgia!

We called it a "loppfångare", a flea catcher. Don't know why.

The MASH game was interesting, it hadn't reached Sweden when I was a kid at least. I (and most girls in my school) loved fortune-telling games, we used to tell each other's fortunes with the weirdest card games. The simplest was one person asking another person yes- or no-questions, the other person would turn over a card from a deck. If the card was red the answer was yes and if black no.

Fortune telling is a guilty pleasure of mine. I absolutely do not believe in it, I'm familiar with most of the tricks involved, but I still get a thrill from having my fortune told.
