i seriously never expected this forum to be this nice, all the forums i've been to before are just dwarfed by this... you guys are soo mature and helpful... i've shared alot of personal stuff allready on this site and i didn't expect the reactions that i got. i have total respect for you guys and gals


soo my message to the other newbies is to stay here, this place kicks ass

As Stated above....it is a direct reflection of our members...that we can maintain a mature, and respectful atmosphere at TFP. Halx has a mandate for community, and we strive very hard to maintain it.

I am new here as well, and I have to say this is one of the best forums around. Not just the maturity, but also for the wide range of topics and experts to guide you on them.

I've got to agree with AquaFox. I left a different forum in search of a site where intelligence and adult behavior were required. I thought I would have a hard time finding something like that but this was the first site that appeared. Its great to have a place like this to visit. Thank you.

Yep, in total agreement here. Good place to jsut chill out. I've had a lot of work to do over the past couple of weeks and I couldn't come to the site, was worried that my account was deleted, but I'm still here weeee :)

Lurking is pretty fun, it's just that it's rather selfish. I lurked a few times here and then eventually got deleted for inactivity. I just signed up again now that I have broadband and hope to be a bit more active.

Yes, it is a rather fun site isn't it. I have enjoyed giving what advice I can in Health and Fitness, and although I post relatively infrequently, the mods keep telling me that as long as what I write is meaningful, it doesn't really matter how little I post. (Although, I do try to keep it to an average of a post a day, but that's pushing it for me.)

Gosh, back in the day I went through a couple server losses with TFP and eventually, after the loss of highspeed internet (dial-up and TFP just DON'T work) lost touch...but now I'm back and I have to say...having had subsequent forum experiences in the meantime makes me value the TFP all the more. Halx has put together a wonderful thing here, and the community that flocks to the wonderful thing makes it all the more valuable. Fact is, I really enjoy the people around here and their opinions. I love the Sexuality forum and I love being able to share my opinion. I love debate with some of the folks on here, and I love making contact with people from other countries, especially those folks who hang out in the Canada forum :). This forum has evolved from what I knew it as, and for that I am glad. As far as I am concerned it has grown for the better. :)

Love this place, it has everything! And as a bonus a great buncha people, which makes this a great little community.

I've been lurking here for about a year, and have recently decided to start contributing. I think this place is a great resource of information as well as a good place to just waste time :D

Yea I'm a lurker too. But I LOVE reading all the good posts. I mean heck, I just learned how to fold my shirts in 3 seconds here! You gotta love that! I want to start contributing but I always feel I have nothing important to say. I know it's dumb and I'll break the ice soon.

Besides all of the nice and caring people that TFP has, What I love about this place is all the different categories that is has to discuss. You can talk about anything and get advice on anything that you need, from people with experience. Good job to all the admins and all of the others for making this place very fun. :thumbsup:

I'll be honest. I opened this thread with the intention of pointing out an error in grammer. Coloquially, one is generally in awe OF something. However, in this case, you appear to be in awe WITH a bunch of other people.

I totally agree. I have been looking for such a forum for a while and now I am so comfortable, I feel that I can share my personal stories and be respected, where as in other forums, that's impossible.

That's the same reason I've stayed here for the last 4 years...

I check this thing so many times a day while at work now. Its great. So much intelligent conversation going on.

Plus, who cares about titles/avatars and all that. You can still share your thoughts and feeling either way and that is what is great about this place. The rest is just bonuses.

This place is great, it is now my new forum.

i have also been sucked in to this forum as well. As an avid online gaming fan i have grown accustomed to the flamewars on the vnboards and the others that there are, this one is a nice break from having to worry who is gonna be upset next. Thank you too al the mods and admins and especially Halx for his dedicated work to keeping this going.

I have spent a long time just lurking, theres been so many interesting things to read and up until now I havent felt the need or more importantly dared to open my rather less than highly educated mouth for fear of what might come out of it. :rolleyes:

But right from the start I thought wow! this place is something special and I didnt come for the porn!! The thing that interested me was the discussions on sexuality and how we see each other. It was a while until I realised that the origin of this forum was as a mostly porn based one.I would never have guessed, it seems to have actually matured into something really worthwhile.Not that porn doesn't have its uses :hmm:

I just thiink its a very special forum and I hope I find the courage to participate more. :)

i found this site not too long ago, but its a nice place to come and hang out, even though i dont post much. very much different from the other forums i hang out on.

I hate "me too" posts, but, hey, me too. It's so refreshing to find an adult forum where "adult" means mature and not porn. The members actually act like adults and not horny teenage boys. Not that I have anything against horny teenage boys, I'm just not all that interested in spending a lot of time talking with them. I get enough of that here at work.

I've been here for a while and post sporadically, sometimes lots, sometimes only a little. I always get interesting replies from interesting and well informed people. Its not exclusive, unlike other places I've been and there is a real attitude of acceptance and tolerance. Kinda special.

I have been around here for about 3 weeks or so now, and I too emensly enjoy this board. I've been a moderator of a few other boards, and a member of a few others, and in the 3 weeks I've been here, I've posted more realistic things, and more words per post, than any board I have ever been on. This place seems to be a matre group, and its nice to be able to have decent conversation. The breadth and width of the topics on this site is great too.

I have been around for about a year I guess at this point. I enjoy the hell out my time spent here. Unfortunatly time is lacking right now. So I feel like I miss alot. Oh well...I'll catch up at some point.

The best part of this forum is that it maintains its maturity, but still allows for humor, even at the occasionaly expense of ourselves. The variety of forums also lets people explore things that interest them, or learn what things might be interesting that they hadn't thought of before.

The TFP truly is awesome!

For the most part a pretty good community of people here. The scope is pretty amazing. I've never seen a message board with so many areas (that are actually used, not ones with like 10 posts in them.) I've enjoyed my stay, and I welcome all new people. Check out all the sections, sometimes some of the categories seem irrelevant to me, until I check them out, and they sometimes turn out to be a whole new area to explore.

I've only just started dipping my toes in the water so to speak, and I'm finding some great responses... I don't yet feel like I'm here but I'm not so afraid to post a comment if I have one. That in itself is mind-blowing for me. Truely awesome here, thanks for allowing me to be a part of it :thumbsup:

This IS a great group! They are extremely helpful and very polite(for the most part- you know how it is theres one in every family hehehehe). Ok, so we have more than one but they are usually just busting chops to make ya feel at home. I adore the ones that make me feel like the bratty younger sister, they make me smile.

They make it worth gnawing my way outta the leather straps in the morning!
