My life story in so many words
October 2, 1986 - Born 5th out of 6 kids (4th out of 5 boys) to Asian Catholic mom and Methodist dad.
1990-present - Smartest kid in school. Seriously. I scored 1300 on the SAT in 7th grade and 34 on the ACT in 9th. I'm a fucking genius.
Summer 2000 - Parents get divorced. Start indie rock band. Play guitar and am lead singer. We suck.
September 29 2001 - Older brother dies. Suxxorz.
2002- Start dating guy from WIU
Spring break 2003 - Mom finds out about guy, kicks me out of house. Wonder about for a few days and end up hitch-hiking 100 miles away. Return and start to live in my Grandfather's formor house (he lives in a nursing home). End relationship with guy.

Which brings us to now. My sister was kind enough to give me her laptop after she finished college so I can continue learning about computers and can get online. I work at a coffee house for next to nothing and still go to school. I'll be a jr. next year. I'm 16 (shhh!!! it's a secret!) but I look like I'm in my early-mid 20s. Well, I at least look old enough to buy cigarettes without an ID.(I'm sure my full beard has something to do with that). I honestly think that being a regular of stileproject at the age of 12 made me age faster.

I play a variety of musical instruments: clarinets of all types, oboe, bassoon, saxaphone, guitar, banjo, and bassdrum or cymbals during marching band season. Yes, I am a band geek.

My interests include politics (left-libertarian), kendo, music(all things indie), religion (UU), programming (java, python and some c), and, of course, all things GNU.

I found TFP through Fark.com ages ago when it was first posted.

Same thing happened to me.
I figured it was because I had never posted anything, and they wanted me to so I would not be just mooching pictures.
Although I do not like to reward irritating behavior, in this case I guess I have little choice. The moderators maintain a great way to access boobies without the annoying things that typically accompany looking for boobies elsewhere, and we do not exactly share equal bargaining power here. I am falling into the bait and switch let's-get-them-hooked-on-boobs-then-make-them-join-our-happy-community-by-cutting-off-access-to-the-boobies scheme, but at least I recognize it. Then again, the fish that knows it's being reeled in must be stupider than the one who does so unwittingly. Anyway, enough mixed metaphors.

hello Ive been reading the boards for a couple weeks now and haven't posted yet so I thought I would say hi here and tell you all a lil about myself, Im 23 I play/referee/coach soccer and I am going to school and when/if I finish I plan on being a high school coach, and I got my name from ghostbusters, its the name I use for fps when I started playing I was horrible and so I was the most harmless thing you could think of:)

any idea what the best way to learn to ride is? :hmm: I was thinking about getting a cheap 50cc scooter to ride and get used to it first but we'll see - they have classes at the community college in town but theres a six month waiting list or something.

I sense another 'culling of the herd' here, and I want to let the community know about me, and to hope that you find me comfortable to be around.

I'm currently on the short side of my thirties, and am finishing up a PhD in industrial engineering. I'm quite the loner type, still unmarried (although hopeful), and am rather shy even now. I say 'even now' as I thought I'd be cured of this by this age! I enjoy just about anything that enhances my walk through life, and that is a great many things, things that I hope to share throughout these forums.
