Just a nOOb question--

How long has this site been up? I see from just browsing the forums it looks like there isn't anyone "older" than April 2003. Was there some mass pruning of thread/members at that time? Just curious....And thanks for a great place on the net. Only been here a week and a great site just to relax at!

The board had a recent crash. Everything was lost. It's the fourth version of the board, so that's why you see so many members for such a relatively young board.

If Hal's the Architect, does that make all of the mods agents?

Now, does vBulletin have alot of problems with crashes? I've been a member of another board (used to be called Cloudchaser, of SegaDojo fame) and it had a few major crashes before it was abandoned for a different board server-type thing. I didn't know if it was poor management or a bigger problem.

I don't get the Matrix. All the second movie was was special effects.

For the record- I liked the second Matrix and anyone who says it didn't expand on the first missed some things (like the plot) along the way. It has some references that ween't as blatant as others, but I felt like it moved along. I also like gratuitous use of special effects in the anime tradition. More $ allows for even more special effects. So when I donate, do I get to see Hal break something or what?
