It's something the characters have in common with each other. My current avatar is Sunfire, from Exiles (Marvel). The pig tails are a dead givaway for fans of that book. My previous one was Shrinking Violet from The Legion of Superheroes. That should be more than enough for any true comics fan.

Maskedrider: when you get your avatar, I can make you one of pretty much any comic book character you'd like. If you just meant you'd like to have an avatar, just ignore this.

Somebody had one that had a picture of one woman whispering to another "Helen, you really ought to douche" which I thought was funny.

I like Cello's right now. hot.

Gilda... I have noticed that all of your avatars were dark haired and could be said to resemble you in some ways... I was going to mention you avatars before this but didn't want to sound like I was stalking your avatar...

Not as upto date on my comic book characters so I don't even know these characters are... If I had to venture a guess I'd say they were lesbian superheroes.

(Googling Time! -- it's like having a superpower).

I just can't have it yet till I get a fair amount more posts, but I use the same one on the other boards I frequent. Most of my close buddies online are aware that I'm a Grey Goose fiend, and have a much larger than average head (for real

I was thinking that their sexual preference was the common thread, but didn't want to be presumptuous.

I tried googling around before you listed the names, but not knowing exactly who they were, I was coming up blank. Google imagesearch for lesbian and superhero doesn't exactly yield SFW results.
