I saw the scroll bar on the right though, so scrolled down and started browsing.. then realized oh yeah it's april 1st.

All that did ws make me poke around for a different way in.

Heh, I actually went around checking all my favourite sites, to see what 'fools they would try to be pulling. I almost expected the mighty TFP to say it had been shut down, or to get a random redirect. You had me wondering a little bit until I scrolled down though. :P

I had my boyfriend's number dialed waiting to tell him that my favorite forum was being shutdown and how I didn't know how I would spend my time without it. But then I realized what today was and felt like an idiot!

As i use Firefox's Live Bookmarks, i never go trhough the main page. Anyway, that was a good one!!

I knew as soon as I saw it what it was... but it still took me a couple minutes to figure out how to get in. :D

It didnt occur to me that the scroll bar showed a lot of real estate left at the bottom of the page.

yknow, i was actually concerned... since the tfp myspace group actually disappeared today too. i thought maybe they were connected in the shut down.

i think i may have figured it out sooner if my husband wasn't home today keeping me offline. but yeah, good ol' "check source code" to the rescue.

I belived it for about 5 seconds. I actually exclaimed outloud, "What?!" But then I remembered what it is.

I knew it was an April Fool's joke right away, but I had to have a friend tell me about the whole "scrolling down" thing.

I thought "Hm, okay.. I'm sure others will be fooled, but you mean I actually have to WORK today?! C'mon.. bring it back up."

never got me, I was linked right from my email to one of the threads and i replied to it, then i came back later in the day and got that so i figured it was bs. :-p nice effort though hal.

I have bookmarks that take me directly to "View new posts" and "Advanced search", so I wouldn't have seen this prank at all if you guys hadn't mentioned it.

har har! I wasnt fooled for a second, I just clicked on the 'recent posts' list and it worked fine! And on a side note today is my brothers 18th birthday! My 20th is in exactly one week

yeah i got totally owned. i knew today was april fools, but JStrider msg'd me on aim saying "hey did you see the TFP today? :( " so i was like "i saw it yesterday and it was fine....why, what happened?" and he's like "just go see it" so i did and i didn't realize there was a scroll bar n stuff. then talking to another TFP'er on aim he was like "you're seriously freakin out over this?" and then things started dawning on me. bleh damn JS!

Guess I'm just the grumpy guy here, but being in a country where it's been april fools all day and checking out my fav websites after coming home from going out to a bar, I'm kindof annoyed to find most of them littered with April Fools jokes. I mean... most of them aren't even usable anymore...
Then again... this hasn't been a good day...
