Fact: There are 12 women in the U.S. Senate and 62 women in the House of Representatives. That's some progress, those are both all-time highs! Now to regress on that progress, I'm taking a little poll!

Stephanie Herseth seems nice. Like somebody you could sit down and have a cup of coffee with. All the rest seem like "suits", you know? You'd expect to see them standing in front of flags or photo backdrops... Boring.

I want a politician who's free to be herseth with me.

Haha, I didn't even see that wordplay, well done. She does seem like someone you can have a cup of coffee with but it's not fair to judge these congresswomen's personalities from their pictures. I got everyone BUT Herseth's picture from their house.gov website wheras I got Herseth's picture from hersethforcongress.org. I assume every one else's campaign websites are down since Herseth was the only freshman of the bunch.

If I'm judging on attractiveness alone, I'll take el Bono, numbero 5. Why? I don't know exactly. Just think she's more attractive.

There was no choice for all of the above! I think we should have a recount....:D

Apologies. I should have mentioned some of us use the Atlantean numbering system which has no #2, hence the confusion. It's believed Atlantis sank due to a similar error. You see, during a bad storm it happened that an immigrant North American was operating the emergency floatation system (quotas - what're ya gonna do?). He got so confused converting from English to Metric that he forgot about the missing digit. Kersplash.
