Who works for what?

So where do you work? Do you work in a big company or a small company? Do you work for yourself? Take part in this poll and find out how many people are also working like yourself.

Astrocloud 02-11-2005 02:18 PM

I work for myself as a contract employee.

Dingo2879 02-11-2005 02:19 PM

I work for a non-profit organization in Chicago

Coppertop 02-11-2005 02:20 PM

I am employed by a large company but I need to make something clear:

Work is where I go, not what I do.

02-11-2005 02:23 PM

I work for a 30ish person locally owned and operated buisness. And I guess I'm a psuedo-entrepeneur as I DJ.

TheKak 02-11-2005 02:26 PM

I don't have a job right now (I'm a college student). But starting March 4, I'll have a part time job... as a nude model for an art class. Should be interesting.

vanblah 02-11-2005 02:53 PM

You should also add an option for school/university.

I work for a small college.

Blackthorn 02-11-2005 03:05 PM

I work for a large multi-national organization with over 110,000 employees. I think that's large anyway. :D

I work for a large computer hardware/software company, some 300,000 employees

Grasshopper Green 02-11-2005 03:36 PM

I work for a large company. I hate it, but they have good health benefits, which is why I stay. Hubby's job doesn't offer benefits, so its up to me to get the insurance.

Tophat665 02-11-2005 03:43 PM

VBCOA, my friends - Very Big Corporation Of America - an international consluting (sic) firm that always knows how to do it better than you, whatever it may be. Our motto: "If you're not part of the solution, there's good money to be made in prolonging the problem."

(Actually, that is all very close to the truth.)

World's King 02-11-2005 04:06 PM

I just got fired.

hambone 02-11-2005 04:35 PM

StanT 02-11-2005 04:55 PM

I work for a very large company. I've done the big fish in a small pond thing, medium sized fish in a huge ocean suits me better.

Averett 02-11-2005 05:44 PM

I work for a large international billion dollar corporation that many people have never heard of.

But I'm quitting soon :D

omega2K4 02-11-2005 05:47 PM

I don't work. Well, a friend of mine is a carpenter and I help him out sometimes, but I don't get paid.

Stiltzkin 02-11-2005 06:51 PM

I'm not working right now because I have college, and my parental unit insists that I should focus on school. And I agree.
