Your US Military...
Here in NYC it's Fleet week.. I've been so busy that when I saw the uniformed folks I didn't put 2 and 2 together.
Remember your military men, they put their lives on the line for our freedoms and ability to do the things we want to do. Buy them a beer, say thank you, do something. |
HEHEH!
I am retired but maybe I should walk around in uniform just to make them salute me now that I am back states-side.... *J/K* |
I work for the Army as a civilian and interact with a lot of officers and cadets. I have had the honor of buying a few of them drinks or just talking to them. They're just normal people... willing to die for their country.

The members of the U.S. military past and present are responsible for the freedom and safety which we now enjoy God Bless them all! And shall we never forget the members who made the ultimate sacrifice for which we now have and enjoy.

Anyway, I never really see people from the military around here, nor do I have the money to buy them a drink (not to mention the fact I can't buy alcohol). But, one day it'll happen :) |
I live close to a military base so I see people all the time. Even during times of peace I usually thank the people in uniform. Their life is always on the line and we shouldn't take them for granted. I'm proud of all our men and women and will always support them! :D

there is one good thing about all the shit we've had to deal with in the last several years. for what i've seen, this generation is doing MUCH better at treating soldiers than in the last few decades.
show your thanks. you'd probably not have been born without them |
