Yeah, I hope so too. There are so many Americans that are unnacounted for. Within a few months time, the number of American casualties will skyrocket.

I was scrolling through and saw this. I had no idea who John Basedow is, so I did a search, and his official website says he is okay, and that he has never even been to Thailand.

You gotta wonder why someone would make that up. Must be interesting to read that you are dead.

And the media wonders why no one takes them seriously. My bosses sometimes put out press releases. When I read them in print the next day, the info is all screwed up because everyone wants to put their own twist on the story. Half the time, they just make something up just to make it sound good. Why can't the media just stick to facts?

What a freakshow! One thing to be in kickass shape, another to have a look like Andrew Ridgely from WHAM! Sorry for the obscure 1980's reference, but he has the look of a man that wants to be taken like a newbie in federal prison.

I figure that if a tsunami swept him out to see, the air inside his plastic pec implants would keep him afloat.

I bet 0.37 cents that John's fitness company reported him missing in order to bring attention to his new "half hour infomercial" coming out soon. I certainly wouldn't put it past him. Before reading this I had no idea WTF he was.
