Roll Your Own?
 

Hello!

I want some input on some RYO (Roll Your Own) tobacco. So far I've tried Bugler (ulgh... pretty nasty in my opinion), and Drum (not bad). Anyone else have any better tobacco for me to try?

Samson, or Gauloises. Bali Shag isnt bad either.

Thinktank's suggestions are good. I liked American Spirit as well. I think an important and oft overlooked factor is the papers you use. I prefered Club Modiano ungummed. They come in a square package. They are very thin and can be difficult at first to get used to but the purer the paper the better the smoke. I used to smoke this tobacco called Three Castles. It was bright and lemony and quite delightful. It was great but, alas, it disappeared for some reason. Tobacco shops can have some nice blends too.

American Spirit is pretty good, but it always dries out on me too quickly... could just be the fact that i live in Arizona though.

gauloises halfzware was my favorite until it stopped being imported a couple months ago.
amsterdam shag is quite good.
samson=the plan b tobacco, when i am out of what i like, as is the situation today..
mac baren is ok in more a gauloises type vein.
i found american spirit to be really harsh.

Try wrapping a zig-zag around some BC Bud. Way better than tabacco.

but zig zags taste like paper towel, no matter what they are wrapped around.

Amen, but I do agree with the paper towel comment.

Are you talking about zig zag whites or blues? I'll agree that blues are like smoking horse blankets, but whites are on par with rizzla if not better.
Oh, and I don't smoke tobbacco, just so ya know.

Let's be honest here, i'd be embarrased to roll ANYTHING with rizzla or zig-zag, for chronic, i rock Juicy Jay's, and for tobacco i rock the samson papers, i never went back once i found the cut corners.
