Leto is damn good at guessing where things are in Canada.

Poppinjay 04-30-2008 08:32 AM

I think blahbalh454's avatar is cooler than I could ever come up with, sharp edges indeed. Congrats!

Bill O'Rights 04-30-2008 09:15 AM

Something tells me...Poppinjay is gonna make a great father. Congratulationd, Dude. It's a wild wild ride. But, it's definately an "E ticket" ride.

mixedmedia 04-30-2008 09:35 AM

I missed Bill. :)

Halx 04-30-2008 10:03 AM

I stalk mixedmedia and I have really high standards.

PlanG 04-30-2008 01:00 PM

The title on Halx's website made me laugh.

Poppinjay 05-05-2008 11:14 AM

PlanG was the absolute most wickedest plan to come out of Ford Motor Company.

girldetective 05-05-2008 02:11 PM

popinjay (n) a garrulous and conceited person; a coxcomb, dandy, fop; a parrot or green woodpecker.
. . .

I think Ive said Poppinjay at least 5 times in the last hour simply because it is fun to say. Pop! Poppin! Onomatopoeia.

Namako, just one more reason Portland is a very cool town.

Tully Mars: a constant passive reminder that not ALL of Mexico is TJ and Nogales

Martian 05-05-2008 02:50 PM

Tully Mars has integrated himself quite well within our community within a few short months. Quite frankly, he's a prime example of the sort of man I hope to be in twenty years.

EDIT - twistedmosaic is a quick typer. :p

mixedmedia 05-05-2008 03:17 PM

Martian seems very genuine and down-to-earth. And he's smart but not pushy about it. One of those folks you can call nice without it being a platitude.

ring 05-05-2008 03:28 PM

I'd stalk you too..
but hey..

My standards ( from what I hear)

would never 'measure' up to...Halx's

plus..I'm so way hetero...I've never even had a girl crush,

Mixedmedia truly blends her arenas for all of us to gather our own,
and add to the mix, she is a facilitator....who I'm sure, looks really
hot in one of those 50's aprons.

spectre 05-05-2008 06:55 PM

ring has only been here a short time, but she has really settled in here well. She brings good insight and great posts. She has definitely been a great member here.

Martian 05-05-2008 07:03 PM

spectre doesn't say much compared with some of our members (myself included), but I always look forward to his posts. They're always insightful and worth the read.

Martians a positive poster and a hell of a guy. I even see him becoming great man in, oh I don't know, say twenty years or so.

dlish 05-05-2008 07:27 PM

tully is man of wisdom and experience.

he too can become a great man in about twenty years too. :P

blahblah454 05-05-2008 07:29 PM

dlish has a seriously enviably life, with him moving around and traveling all the time. I would absolutely love to do that but don't even know how to get started. I always look forward to reading your posts, and popping into the G'day threads to see whats up.

Yeah it was an easy shot, Martian's top shelf in my book. I always look forward to his posts.

Speaking of top shelf... dlish is a world traveler and a great source of insight. His posts are always interesting and insightful.

fresnelly 05-05-2008 07:43 PM

Tully has one of the most interesting Journals going.

mixedmedia 05-06-2008 03:12 AM

blahblah is always there with some words of wisdom in the advice threads...and he gets very excited about movies. :)

fresnelly is smooth. Super-cool. He's a little quiet but when he does speak up it's always worth listening to.

uncle phil 05-06-2008 03:15 AM

mm is one of my favorite lady tfp-ers...

her posts and pics bring joy to my day...

Fly 05-06-2008 03:43 AM

paddyjoe 05-06-2008 03:46 AM

the flyman always has a good word...

amonkie 05-06-2008 03:54 AM

The Paddy is one of the very few things I miss about living in New York ... he has the best wings n beer n onion rings hangout right at his doorstep!

amonkie introduced me to the delicious joys of krumkake...mmmm, krumkake

(yep, no breakfast yet)

Poppinjay 05-07-2008 05:48 AM

I would love to know how twistedmosaic prepared (his/her) avatar, and would like to congratulate (him/her) on a presence that is not sex based, but smart and responsive to ideas.

Punk.of.Ages 05-13-2008 11:25 AM

Poppinjay has an awesome user title. I find it hilarious.

RetroGunslinger 05-13-2008 12:45 PM

A state of pure inebriation? I think I've found my long lost brother! Happiness and sunshine!

Punk.of.Ages 05-13-2008 12:51 PM

Apparently RetroGunslinger is my brother, so he can't be all bad!

Grasshopper Green 05-13-2008 04:25 PM

Punk is a rare breed - a fellow Utahn. That alone deserves a salute. His profile pic is pretty cool, too.

spectre 05-13-2008 04:29 PM

Medusa is a total sweetheart. She's one of the nicest people on the board and it's always a pleasure to talk to her.

mixedmedia 05-13-2008 04:31 PM

spectre is a total sweetheart. He's one of the nicest people on the board and it's always a pleasure to talk to him. :p

Plus he recommends good tunez...

lotsofmagnets 05-13-2008 05:57 PM

easy, what´s there to not like about mixedmedia? a short list if it exists at all.

mixedmedia 05-13-2008 06:01 PM

awww :shy:

lotsofmagnets is a supercool newmember who lives close enough to abaya and ktspktsp to stalk them, yet doesn't...at least I don't think he does...

and he takes the great photografs.

BogeyDope 05-13-2008 06:03 PM

mixedmedia is a super moderator who moderates superbly...and has an awesome taste in hobbies [based off the camera in your photo ;P]

ottopilot 05-13-2008 06:18 PM

Who could not like GeneralMao? Their whole family has a tangy taste for life. I like the chicken that GeneralMao's brother (General Tso) makes at the Double Dragon II in J-Town. I sometimes find extra wontons in my take-out.

GeneralMao is an asset to the TFP community.

Punk.of.Ages 05-13-2008 06:59 PM

ottopilot does it right.

xepherys 05-13-2008 07:03 PM

He rolls on 20s, apparently... d20s that is! Kudos!

Grasshopper Green 05-14-2008 04:24 PM

I've always had a thing for a man in uniform (I hope TotalMilf doesn't kick my ass now...) Plus...xepherys always adds quality to the threads he posts in :)
