Exposed

When I moved into my latest temp apartment the previous occupant must have been behind on his bills. I keep getting tons of past due notices for cable, phone, power, etc.. so I am all the time having to return to sender. But one bill that must have been paid was for Exposed Magazine (a porno mag) as I keep getting them, I don’t return those to sender. :p

No real point but the lastest one came today..

lol, that's pretty funny. it reminds me of my friend when he was a newspaper boy and said he would see playboys in his neighbors mailbox and take them.

Just the other day a cop came to my door with an arrest warrent for whoever lived in my apartment before me, I just moved in a month ago. Lesson of the day, if you want to avoid creditors, or the police, just move

When we moved into a new place several years ago in a different state with a new phone number, we started getting phone calls from creditors and some rather strange people searching for the previous holder of the phone number who just happened to have the same last name as my husband and I. Now THAT was weird.....and difficult to explain. And we requested that particular number. It was not assigned to us.

I've still got free cable from the guy who lived here before me. I think the cable guys don't get it... It's been over a year... I got letters for two months, then nothing.

I just happened to have a cable modem from my previous place, plugged it in when I got the first late payment letter, free cable internet ever since... I don't understand, but I'm not gonna call the cable company to find out!

Lucky Bastard!!

Police raided the apartment next door looking for some guy that had an arrest warrant. Too bad he moved 2 months ago. It sure frightened the lady that moved in.

Attaboy!

The previous owner of the place here had left behind crap load of stuff. Mostly junks on the farm but me and my brother would go through all of the stuff and find some really cool shits. We even found a hidden arsenal of porno behind a board in our room that once used to belong to the owner's son along with some bikes that were still in decent shape.

I've lived in my house over 5 years. The police came by the other night with papers to serve and I told them it was the wrong address and that I believed that who they wanted was across the street. The cop just said "I'll take this back to the office and tell them wrong address". Tax dollars at work I tell ya.

Just move, that sounds like a great idea. I may have to try that, oh except I haven't done anything to worry about.

The guy who owned the place I live in now was wanted by both the police and the bad guys. About a week after we had moved in, a cop came by and told us to change the locks (already done!), not to open the door for strangers and generally keep an eye out. There actually was a clearly visible path in the backyard lawn where he used to sneak away from the ones looking for him. It faded after about a year.
