Post Your Wristwatches
I'm in the market for a wristwatch. Preferably something dressy, but not necessarily. I don't really know what I'm looking for, but I was hoping I could get some ideas here. I guess a picture and a description (make, model, caliber, etc) would be nice. Thanks! (I hope this thread doesn't get lost and bumped down to page 3 within a day.)

I have a Swatch Rainstorm. I've had it for about 9 months or so, and it still looks like the day I bought it. It's nothing super special, but I love it.
If I had the green for one, I'd get a TAG Heuer. I like this one in particular.

Don't think my watch will do you much good function wise unless you've got a hearing aid, but I think it's soo cool so I thought I'd share
From Phonak, a Swiss hearing aid company, the watch retails for $500 and includes remote control features for my hearing aid. I've got the ladies model on the left.

I own the swatch skin, "rubber dub". I bought it without really needing a watch, I just thought it was so cool, so I layed down the 95 bucks and took it home. I have worn it everday since. I don't have huge wrists, so this watch fits well. It is so light, that I dont really even know that it is on. |

This is as close a picture of my watch I could find.
This is a Casio. I bought an Elgin Blue Dial quartz watch with day/date display window for about 40 bucks that turned out pretty well, for a Walmart watch.

This is my Watch. It is a Citizen Eco-Drive. It is solar powered, and is made of titanium. It is a lot light than a regular steel watch. It also has a rotating bezel. My other watch is an Omega that is about 40 years old. It was given to me by a personal training client who bought it new in Switzerland. It has a steel case, but the bezel and lugs are coated with rose gold. The face is not cleaned, but the plastic cover face was replaced. It also is a kinetic wind watch which amazingly still works. I believe it is a 17 jewel movement, and it is beautiful inside. |

This is one of my casually elegant watches. It is a Xemex, part of the Offroad collection.

I like the looks a lot, the light is kind of crappy though.

Here's mine.. got as a 21st birthday present from the folks (retails for around 300 USD, I think), and had it for over a year now. This is the first, and hopefully last "real" watch I own. I love it.
You can beat a man to death with it, and it will not suffer a scratch! It does not need rewinding or changes of battery - it charges from solar power. It has other nifty features too, like seeing the time in different time zones, date, day of the week, timer/stopwatch, alarm, etc. Citizen Eco-Drive Skyhawk, full titanium model |

This is what I wear. It's lightweight and has the Tritium gas for continous lighting. It's the civilian version of the watch issued to many special forces.

I have two...
It's a 256M Flash Drive in a watch. I have a different face on mine (nicer), but I can't find an image of it. Geeky as hell, but it's great for taking a days worth of MP3s to work and back My other one is something like this one, although not exactly the same. |

What is cool about this watch is that it bends around the wristbone, and the display is angled so that you don't have to bend your wrist to read the display "straight on". Lefties need not apply, however.
