No, Not IBM. :)
Just out of curiosity, how many of my fellow TFP'ers are members of the ever so wonderful USAF? (or any service for that matter)This whole thread was sparked by the thread talking a bout taking a break from the tfp, and the only break i've taken since i found this wonderful place was Basic and Tech School (Which sucked ass!). And for the record, i'm a Helicopter Crew Chief (MH-53's!) Pave Low Leads Beyotch! :) -Cable |
I always wanted to be in the Air Force, but then my Marine friend, who also had intended to be in the USAF, told me that you had to have naturally perfect eyesight to fly the sweet-ass jets, which is all I ever wanted to do.
So now, I'm just going to college. |

Study hard, work harder, watch the booze, stay away from lusers and open your ears. Rank = money Study = rank Invest 10% every month! USAA rocks. Get a second job if you can. Learn another career. Get a degree, even if it is underwater basket weaving. Keep your affairs in order. Keep them to yourself, unless you need to seek assistance. Welcome to the AF. If it happens to you in the AF it is your fault. |

I'm in the US Army right now. I'll be leaving shortly to go to Basic training then OCS. Roughly 6 months away from TFP, the internet, and freedom, lol.
|
I spent 8 years in the USN (1995-2003). I enjoyed working on aircraft. Many great times were had and places visited.
|
I'm considering Air National Guard right now.
|
I was in the Australian Air Force Cadets for 4 years, kinda counts because I gotta hoon around in a PC9, which is what the RAAF uses for fast jet training.
