CANADIANS are the MOST Polite People On the Planet - Yes or NO!
 

Canadian are insanely Polite, do you agree.

Whether or not you do, please post a story about an encounter with a canuck, good or bad.

I had a hooker get really snappy at me cause I did not want her for my boy. BUt I met this one guy who was skate boarding and he started talking to me he was really nice and he was good at skate boarding and he was adopted by a lady who was death so he was very help full to his adopted mom.

Let me see, I work in retail. I work in a state that gets A LOT of canadians since our state does not have sales tax on clothes and other assorted stuff.

They flock here, and let me tell you. Canadians are by far one of the rudest set of shoppers I have EVER SEEN.

Its not just me, ask any of my co-workers or even anyoone in our mall. They are rude, messy, and downright ignorent more then the average shopper thats rude, igorent and messy.

Now this isnt all, or saying canadians in general. But the ones I've seen are.

(And dont even try that crap about customers treat back how they are treated, I personally am a knight when it comes curtousy and kindness to strangers and customers.)

I live here, and I've met my share of unpolite people. I wouldn't like to be somewhere else, if they'd be worse.

Kind of a stupid generalization, me thinks. I happen to think citizens in my state are extremely polite. I wouldn't go around saying they're more polite than citizens of other states, or countries.

In my three times visitting the neighbors up north (briefly), I have yet to meet any one that pisses me off.

And what Jeff said, I'll skip the voting and generalization part.

while the Canadians are a great people...

in my experience, n terms of politeness, noone comes close to the Japanese. oh, and the Tanzanians (esp the Zanzibari) as a whole are a beautifully polite people.

there's nice people & not so nice people everywhere.

having said that, the only canadians i know (to my knowledge) are from online (& i know a few) & they are all top notch ace!!

My experience indicates that Canadiens are very polite, but that is not significantly different from experience in a number of other countries. I've run across very polite people in such diverse places as Turkey and China, and even France, if you can believe that.

While there are rude people everywhere, if most people you meet are rude, maybe it is something about you.

I just recently took a visit in Calgary, Alberta. And i must say, the people were quite friendly. More so than, how it is around the area i live.

Nice.. so what'd you think of my hometown? :D

This is a stereotype. It is no different than any generalization that lumps people together.
"All members of X are Y".
Irish are alcoholics.
Jews are good with money.
Poles are stupid.
Canadians are polite.
