Need Help for a Surprise Birthday Party!

Planning a surprise 50th birthday party for my mom and have

about 80 people getting together at a resturant and she has no

clue. I know I will have to go up and present a speech

and need some ideas and tips on what to I need to say & cover

with a side note of making it short, sweet and a bit humorours.

Anybody feel free to chip in with some thoughts. I will keep

everyone posted on how it

goes.

Dude we can't tell you what to say, we don't know your mom, only YOU can properly express how much of a positive influence your mom has been on your life and the lives of others, how much of a role she had in shaping all of your good qualities and such. Having said that, if you're throwing her a surprise party, I guess she ain't all that bad, hehe. Hope everything goes well for ya.

I'm mad, you're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Thanks for checking in soul. The party went really smooth and

everyone had loads of fun. Everyone arrived around 12:45 and

dad brought mom in around 1ish and she had no idea and was

totally shocked. We had a

big lunch, cake cutting ceremony, dances for entertainment that

the young gals did and called it a

day around 3ish. I was a lilttle nervous when speech time came

around but I managed with a short and sweet note by thanking

everyone for comming and to let mom know how much I love her

and for "putting" up with me everyday. haha. Definately a

memorable moment I will never forget. If anyone ever needs any

pointers feel free to PM me.
