As soon as that 250 postcount was mentioned I had visions of people doing 50 posts a day that consist of either a

or a

Please tell me that there is more to entrance than just numbers? Is there a way to tell if the prospective member has just been spamming without having to review their posts manually?

And if they do that, they'll suddenly find themselves with less than 10 posts and friendly PM from a mod. Spamming gets really annoying to the people that honestly want to be a part of the community.

I used to have access to the "booby" threads, now I dont. I just got internet back and have to work back to where I was when Version 3 was running. It took me a few day to realize they were limited. Once youve seen a booby or 2 they are all the same. Ive grown up and talking to people and shooting the shit is more fun anyways. I dont have access, and not sure if ill ever have it again, but oh well.

this will be my 89th or 90th post but i still no sign of the pormised land. I think Halx is saying that, regardless of individuals postcounts, he is waiting for a certain time, to allow the people that may have enough. So if oyu reach a certain point that would allow for access into the area...it wont happen when that number is reached but when Halx decides to let those individuals, with the appropriate number of posts, into the forum.

I hope my day is coming soon.

Edit: Seriously, this thread has been dead for a year and two months. Let it LIE! I can't fathom that anybody reads that far down into the thread stack, but even if they do WHAT makes them think that anybody's still interested in these old clunkers?? This bugs me on principle more than anything else.

That said, you're a rookie. I won't come through your monitor and rip your lungs out... this time.
