What websites do you visit daily?
I have a short list of sites that I visit daily. Of course these sites are updated at least once a day (some are updated several times a day).
Here's my list (in no particular order): TFProject - http://www.tfproject.com Fark - http://www.fark.com College Humor - http://www.collegehumor.com Tech Bargains - http://www.techbargains.com Ain't It Cool News - http://aintitcool.com/ I'm very curious to see what sites other people visit every day. Please post your sites. Be sure to include the name and address of each site. By the way, I checked around and didnt see any similar threads, I hope I was thorough enough in my search. TFP...Internet Movie Database (because I'm a big movie/celebrity gossip dork)...MSN...and usually my bank's website, because I'm rapidly depleting all the money I saved so I wouldn't have to work and go to school. Oh, and my school's website to check my mail.

I always hit here, Men's Health Forums at menshealth.com, Styleforum.net, a web-based bodymod community I'm part of, and macys.com to check on new deals.
I tend to check Ebay and bmezine.com a lot, as well. |
tfp, hotmail and google are definites... others may include slashdot, salon, imdb and fark.

I find Fark to be a surprisingly good source of news ranging from serious to fringe. There's enough of a balance of left-wing and right-wing assholes that something about everything will get posted. I also hit:

Being quite liberal, I think that hitting some news sources from the right mgives me some insight into what those who think differently are saying about stuff, and (frighteningly,) sometimes other views make more sense. It's all about broadening my horizons. |

so i was wondering about sites that people go to read regularly (generally everday). maybe you could post a webiste no one has metnioned yet and why u think it is so good....put them under broad categories..
Forum Nothing but the best right here. Love TFP. Tech News Slashdot - generally the most comprehensive and the largest amount of tech news -- just about anythign and everything you need to know. ArsTechnica - its like a neater cleaned up version of slashdot with more focus on specific (a.k.a less in number) areas of tech news, gaming, governement regulations on technology, and corportate news. Sports - ESPN - for all sports an American will be concerned with. Tons and tons of op/ed stuff. BBC Sport - more world sports oriented. CricInfo - (being an indian, i jsut can't get by without my cricket news. this one is the best, with text-based running live commentary of all matches ) Op/Ed sites - Slate - has a lot of op/ed stuff on just about everything, though they focus mostly on politics, media (books, tv, movies), and dabble in other categories. Online Comics- Sinfest - Greatest online comic ever!! Crippling Depression - for people who went to crazy ass universities with shitloads of work, and not enuf women Manga - Manganews.net - they list pretty much every chapter released by every group, but they dont list licensed manga Animesuki.com - same as manganews.net, but they do it for anime That's about all i generally visit regularly. Hope this wasn't too boring. |

News CNN - Just to get an idea what's going on in "popular" news, because I avoid TV, or the newspaper. Weather - Get an idea what their guess. Art DeviantArt - Just got to Comics Penny Arcard - There used to be a long list of internet comics, but this is the only one I check anymore Bargain Sites SlickDeals - Check everyday I'm online to see if there's anything I need for cheap Game Sites Shacknews - I don't know why I still check gaming websites, but I got into the habit of visiting this one, and it has just stuck with me? Forums TFP Of Course Yota Tech - When I got questions about my vehicle VW Vortex - When I want to check out some nice Dubs, or see what others are doing to my dream vehicle (mk1 Rabbit or Cabriolet). Sports Soccernet - Stay on top of AC Milan, and see if they after start following Peņarol someday. Those are my usual daily hits/constant hits. |
