People being unsafe with firearms. Go ahead, kill yourself.
Women that wear heels everywhere. Take that shit off. Obese people purchasing fast food. Any questions? People who talk about drug use as a hobby. Get a real hobby. Among other things. |

Something that drives me completely crazy is being lied to. I hate finding out that someone lies to me, It makes me wonder what else they lie to me about. Ive been married for 5 years and my husband still doesn't understand this. He has been trying to quite smoking and I know it is a hard thing to do. He tells me he doesn't smoke and then I catch him outside smoking while grabbing the mail. He also buys packs off our debt card and doesn't tell me about it. I'm the one that budgets the money, I'm bound to find out. He doesn't understand that it is not the money its his health that I'm worried about. But it is the fact that he lies to me. I hate HATE being lied to.

fat people that come in subway and try to get so much damn meat on their sandwich, then get mad when i say no. or folks that are difficult as hell and act like they've never ordered fast food before. and people that get extra stuff on their sandwich then flip out when they have to pay extra.
|
vain/jane, you may get some catharsis by listening to the horror story from Pseudopod named It’s Easy to Make a Sandwich. I found it wonderfully chilling. Please never go there.

being in baby jail, no social contact. Well at least I have this place to vent.

People who think that the bright red curbs and big "Fire Lane Only" signs in front of supermarkets mean, "Park here - you're special."
I don't give a rat's ass if you're only buying a lottery ticket or mailing a letter; park in the damn parking lot like everyone else and quit tying up the traffic in front of the store! ps - Yes, that's my loogie on your door handle. |
Ignorance and people who are oblivious to other people's feeling
People that can't multitask drive me nuts.. For instance when my wife is on the phone and i overhear her with something so i want her to ask the conversant a question.... she can't listen to me and the other person at the same time... yep, that drives me nuts from time to time. |
@Hawker-rider - Write a note, stick it infront of her face. Big bold letters, but do pay attention to her eyesight to properly gauge the distance the note needs to be so she can read it fast and clearly.
But what I don't like is how a kid can be born, and as he walks around in the world, he can have all kinds of wild ideas about everything, and rarely will anyone appreciate it, unless it's something obvious and common like sports, art, and music, and at the same time all of this is happening, also these people are routinely telling the kid he can't do various different things. Also, the people around him will tell him things they don't really know - as truth, all the time. This kid then will be able to grow up embracing these false ideas, and will meet other people who also embrace these same ideas that the same chain of events provided them, or he'll be looked at as rather peculiar, perhaps very dangerous - Also because of false thoughts as truths people have told people over the years. People, stating false thoughts as truth, and that's the information a lot of people believe. Here's what they thought about what I'm saying. (I can't post links - Google rhee fired DC teachers without evaluation and click the first link to watch a video) Note the first teacher that was on camera - "Right now, I am not a human being. I am lost in the world." " I am very upset about it because I have done nothing. DC public school want to save money by firing experienced teachers." I dunno, buddy.. I have a hard time supporting you when you tell me flat out "I've done nothing, and I'm upset that the result is me being fired." I wouldn't be surprised if everyone else said the same thing, and agreed with one another about how "hard" each of them worked to educate those kids. Now, I'm not saying teachers don't work hard. I see how they come home every day, worn out and ready to get hammered at home or at bayou city wings. I hear em all the time saying how hard they work, but then I hang around their students, and low and behold.. they're 10 times dumber than the dumb kids in my class. That's only a difference of about 7 or 8 years. Maybe your hard work is in vein.. Maybe it's all wrong. Maybe the entire concept we have right now surrounding teaching retains the same lingo as the previous version which worked, but the mechanics have changed and now it achieves the exact opposite of what it says it does, but no one can see it? really? that drives me crazy. What I would expect to see when 250 teachers get fired, is these teachers defending their positions with all they've got, but obviously he didn't care about it that much. Seriously, that's probably the end for that guy. Or atleast I'd hope it would be.. Being a victim of jobicide would, to me, feel like I've been branded the first ultra-failure as an employee. What have I done to deserve this? well, I must have let a lot of kids walk out of my class dumber than they were when they came in. "Everything I did seemed like it was the right thing to do." might come to mymind once or twice.. but obviously I've got the wrong idea about what's right. |

Thanks Winchester,
I will go stock up on big yellow post-it notes now... that was a pretty good idea. |
What drives me nuts is when people do stupid ignorant things to me that I wouldn't do to anyone. Even worse is when people do stupid ignorant things that I wouldn't even think of doing to anyone.

When people ask you a question based on what you've just said when the answer to the question is what you've just said.

Man so many of these things drive me crazy, but the main one that comes to mind for me is the guy who sits next to me at work constantly snorting. I don't know if he permanently has a cold, or it's because he's giving up smoking or what, but it's fucking disgusting! For God's sake man, just blow your nose!
|
Chilly - I had a "snort 'n swallow' co-worker. Here's a quick fix - next time he does it, say, "Wow - I hope that tastes better than it sounds.

1: Pill-smuggling neighbors who all draw 6 different kinds of State assistance, live better than I do (and have cooler toys) when I have an actual job, and cook meth in their garages. The fun part is watching them wreck
