omega2K4 01-20-2004 11:38 PM

I just read a few articles, very nice for a launch "issue". How often is it going to be updated?

wilbjammin 01-20-2004 11:45 PM

I like it. I'm glad that I get to see it evolve from the beginning.

mr_mcrafe 01-20-2004 11:50 PM

Vespertine 01-21-2004 12:43 AM

Lookin' good so far. I thought the articles were a nice read. Let's you get to know your fellow posters a lil' better than just regular babbling in threads.

Grats to all of you who made it possible!

World's King 01-21-2004 12:47 AM

I am sooooooooooo happy.

Keep reading... I'm only gonna say more stupid shit.

Prince 01-21-2004 12:56 AM

Mr.Deflok 01-21-2004 01:36 AM

Awesome! Some great articles there! But I guess I'm biased ;)

Fremen 01-21-2004 02:18 AM

Very swift, guys.

FL (oops!) :D

Reese 01-21-2004 02:26 AM

Pat Robertson told me that God told him that Tilted Magazine was going to be a hit. He'd be a moron to think otherwise.

Those are some damn fine articles. I don't think you'd find a better group of contributors if you searched the world over a thousand times.

tinfoil 01-21-2004 04:21 AM

Right on!

Excellent writing and subject matter., and I am not biased.

GakFace 01-21-2004 04:29 AM

King, Always said I wanted to read what you wrote.. and there I go.. Instantly go the article I've been waiting to read. You, Sir, have Talent. Its doesn't have that professional feel. That is what makes it good. Instead of sounding like some scientifical badass, you come off as a person with something on their mind. It make us interested... and almost personal, not in an offensive way, but in the sense that we know precisely what you're talking about even though we're not sure what you're going to say next. Every line is a cliffhanger, even when we can predict what you're going to say. Personaly, (see? what'd I tell ya)this goes beyond good writing; I'm not sure if there even is a word that describes its excellence. Sure thats a good word, but doesn it fit? I don't think so. Either way, I'm thoroughly impessed.

God of Thunder 01-21-2004 05:14 AM

Looks good so far. I was glancing through and noticed Lurkette's article and then saw the pics and ooops. NSFW!!

So I will look again tonight when I am home.

troit 01-21-2004 06:28 AM

Congrats and thank you to all who contributed to the first addition of Tilted Magazine. Like TFP in its infancy stage -- there is potential. Keep up the good work. ;)

tritium 01-21-2004 11:24 AM

Just posted on the Magazine's forum inquiring as to whether or not there is room for additional contributers. I'd love to help out, if that's acceptable.

Great work! Read the whole thing!

Halx 01-21-2004 12:31 PM

Done and done.

I sent out 57 emails last night to everyone I knew. It's gonna get big.

G_Whiz 01-21-2004 02:25 PM

I haven't had much time to go through it all, but what I've seen looks great. I'll comment in more depth once I get home where I can really read the articles.

Great job all. Thanks for you hard work.

powerclown 01-21-2004 03:25 PM

Pretty cool!

Took a look around, read a few stories, looked at a few pics, quite interesting. Kudos to those who put the time in.

spived2 01-22-2004 09:02 PM

It's great to see that the future project has finally taken off. I can't wait to see all the wonderful articles that are sure to be submitted during the mags lifetime. keep up the great work!

rev_skarekroe 01-23-2004 08:49 AM

ninety09 01-24-2004 10:31 PM

These articles are very interesting to read! Great job!

legolas 01-26-2004 08:44 AM

it rules.

crackpot 01-26-2004 01:34 PM

Cool. Bookmarked. Thanks.

flamingdog 01-27-2004 06:34 AM

can I just say, I'm very impressed with the final result, but I'm a little bit saddenned to see exactly the same faces writing on there that you see all the time on here.

I put myself forward for the project and got knocked back in no uncertain terms.

If I were a less charitable man, the word 'clique' might be creeping into my mind somewhere.

Still, nice job, it's turned out really well.

I'll link it on my blog next time I update.

Halx 01-27-2004 12:22 PM

well, flamingdog, where else do you suppose we the the writers of the first issue of Tilted Magazine?

We've all ready enlisted some outside help as a result of the warm reception the mag has all ready received... things will continue to evolve.

flamingdog 01-27-2004 02:18 PM

My point being, I put myself forward as soon as the idea became public, and got told no dice. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you should have gone about this a different way, I'm just saying there's obviously a hierarchy amongst us.

Halx 01-27-2004 02:33 PM

To accept all who apply would be to bite off more than we could chew.

Esen 01-29-2004 03:15 AM

Flaming dog,

I would not say it is a qlique at all of writers.

I'm writing for the paper and I am a pretty much quiet unknown boarder reader and writer.

I think It really has to do with if they think that at this point and time that you would be able to give a reall contribution.

You will notice a lot of the writers are people who post a lot on the lit boards.

You might want to share more of your writing with us there.
I'm hoping the mag will be around a long time, just because you are not writing now for it does not mean that you can't in the future.
Unless of course you get really angry and whine about it.

Iliftrocks 01-30-2004 11:37 AM

Looks good, I'm going to have to read a bit before I have an opinion, but I liked what I saw in the few minutes I was there.

zer010gic 01-30-2004 04:14 PM

Looks good I read a few articles how do you get involved in writing for the mag.

eatav8 01-31-2004 02:14 PM

It looks and reads well. Keep up the good work.

namakenezumi 02-07-2004 03:34 AM

Interesting stuff... good luck keeping it going... I understand that the first two years of this kind of thing are the most difficult...

tangledweb 03-11-2004 06:41 PM

Nice layout on the magazine. The design helps to draw you into the TFP with pause and purpose.

Great Job and Thanks!

WarWagon 03-11-2004 07:15 PM

Looks like a solid foundation for many more great things to appear in the future. The impact of TFP spreads further and further.

Jesus Pimp 03-14-2004 05:57 PM

Good articles, but the presentation is bland.

Demiurge 04-05-2004 06:43 AM

I really enjoy reading the mag, loads of interesting things to keep me busy... but it's lacking graphics to make it more enjoyable.
