TORONTO -- A man caught driving naked from the waist down while watching kiddie porn on his laptop computer has become the first man in Toronto charged with allegedly stealing an Internet connection. Toronto police laid a theft of communications charge after busting a man driving the wrong way down a one-way street, downloading child porn using stolen wireless Internet signals.

The slow moving car was pulled over around 5 a.m. on Wednesday by a police officer who allegedly found the pantsless driver watching a movie of a 10-year-old girl performing fellatio on an adult on his laptop.

Police allege the man downloaded the movie using an Internet connection he intercepted from a nearby house.

Stealing Internet is becoming more common among perverts trying to avoid online detection. It's also a way they invade someone else's computer which could have serious ramifications for unsuspecting wireless Internet subscribers, police say.

CHILD-ABUSE IMAGES

The Toronto police child exploitation unit was called in after the arrest and with the OPP's Project P unit searched the unemployed man's Delhi home.

They recovered 10 computers and thousands of CDs and floppy discs which they suspect contain child abuse images.

It will take investigators numerous hours to search the computers and discs before they know exactly how many child abuse images the man allegedly had.

Walter Nowakowski, 33, of Delhi faces numerous charges related to child pornography and theft of communications.

That's disgusting (the description of the movie he was watching). Couldn't you just turn on encryption and that would prevent stolen wireless connections? It's funny, at work the other day, someone - in the office, but not in our team - leeched off our lab wireless connection and was participating in adult chat rooms because of that. I don't understand these people at all.

I don't get it. After years of searching porn I have never run into someone that was underage. I don't get it? I'm not saying I want to run across this shit I just don't understand how they find it. They must spend hours and hours looking.

I have amassed a large sized porn collection. In my various travels on the web and usenet I have found it easily on P2Ps, usenet has underage nude model groups that sometimes post things that aren't "art" like the federal statute* allows. A well-known encrypted network is a haven for it since it's untraceable. Be careful dling any porn on P2Pthat has an @ symbol instead of an *A* is all I will tell you. I won't say the real name for obvious reasons. If I was inclined I could fin CP in a matter of minutes,, so you can imagine what someone with my web knowledge (4 year addiction and counting) trying to find it could do.

What I am amazed at is the fact that this guy gets pulled over and doesn't even think to close his laptop and put it in the back. All he could have gotten pulled over for was having his wanger hangin out. I can almost see the reaction on the cops face as he walks up and asks to see the license and reg., sees a laptop on the passenger seat with a 10 year old giving head. Freaking unbelievable!!!!

On the subject of how hard it is to find, I accidentally came across the first CP I've seen last week. Followed a link to paradise nudes from a thread here "where do you get your porn". Exactly, cut it off from the source. The Internet makes it hard to do, but someone needs to find a way to end this.

It's pretty easy to avoid on kazaa if you even half way glance at the discription of what you're downloading. You do run across some 'questionable' stuff that is hard to tell if it's legal or not, but it's hard to accidently download obvious CP. Hell, If it's questionable delete it.

As feelgood mentions, you've got to feel for the investigators that have to few and categorize all the data. They're going to need some therapy after all of this.

i think that part of the problem is that some of the pics you see, you can't tell how old the person, is. some of those girls looks like they might be over 18, (not by much, if they are).
