What happened to JadziaDax?
 

I haven't posted here in a while because I've been busy with school and what not. Don't worry, I'm not going to ask about the TB being gone, I know the server is being moved and all that--I do read the news section and sticky notes. I just noticed that... JadziaDax's profile is... erhm, not the same. Am I allowed to ask what happened? I'm sorry if I'm overstepping my boundaries here.

That's not a very nice thing to say. So really, I mean... is she okay and everything? TFP doesn't seem half as cheerful as it did when I first joined. I understand that hardships happen. Hope things go well.

I was also able to block her (I unblocked her afterwards of course), which means that she's no longer a Super Mod. Is this temporary? Doesn't anyone know what's going on? AH!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I think it'd be weird if no one missed her. I don't think TFP is going to silence you for being concerned about one of its own.

EDIT: Now that I know it's official, I'd like to add that Jadzia did a lot to define the intellectual, fun, and civil nature of the TFP through her daily posts and moderation. I will also miss her.

I began to miss her daily posts, wonderful "want to be my bra" signature...

During my short time at TFP I have seen a few populars come and go, without any obvious reason, usually leaving a few members dissapointed.
It happens.
I just hope Jadz is different and she'll be back...

I've always enjoyed Jadzia's posts in all the forums. Hope she's not gone and all is well.

She was one of the most active members on here, and I surely don't hope she's gone for good. I love all of her posts, they're funny, informative, thought-provoking and well-written...

I do know she's been feeling under the weather lately. You can check out her journal and that might give you an idea. I've been dealing with a cold as well and can easily imagine why a negative perspective. I don't know if that's the whole reason but does help explain it.
She has been posting in her journal and a couple other places lately. Just not as much is all.

I hope that she comes back soon. Without Recipe of the Day, Joke of the Day, Position of the Day, Word of the Day, Crossword Puzzles, etc...the TFP just feels significantly emptier. Plus, I have no idea what the weather is like outside of my town anymore.

Her profile does not bode well. Jadz, please, please come back when you can....TFP is not right without you.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to address the various posts in this thread.

Jadzia has indeed departed the TFP.

We won't be going into any specifics, but just leave it at this.

She has been a member of this community for quite a while, and I'm sure she will be sorely missed.

But life goes on, and the community will continue to evolve.

We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours, as well as happiness in her upcoming wedding to the RedRavin.

I think this thread could serve as a calling for her. We all want her to come back and hang out with us.

I barely know the lady (if at all), but I've enjoyed her posts and hate seeing someone leave suddenly. Her name gives me Trekker fuzzies, too. I hope she decides to return.

I am going to outright say it, PLEASE come back..... :( Without your Positions of the day, I, along with others may get into some serious danger without your guidance. If you really have to stay away, you are going to be missed so very much.

I'm another person that she doesn't know that is going to miss her. I've enjoyed her posts, and her occasional lectures on proper behaviour here have encouraged and inspired me to open up and discuss things a bit more than my lurker self would have otherwise.

I will miss the reparte with JadziaDax. I wish her well in whatever she chooses to do.

But I still want her back. :(

This is unfotunate. JadziaDax was a huge part of the community here. What ever happens, I wish you luck, safety and happiness in your future endeavors.

While reading this, i got this eerie feeling like i'm at a funeral. While i know this isn't reality, i couldn't help but noticing the similarity. I also had very few actual back and forth's with jadz, but the few i did were fun and interesting, and i will certainly miss reading her insightful and fun-loving posts!!! if it's possible i'd love to have her back... thanks
