I just hope I'm able to be home with my family this year. All the rest is just a bonus. But if i had to pick a material thing, I would have to go with one of those music jukeboxes that store like 30 gigs of music (ipod, zen, etc..)

phaedrus 12-06-2003 01:06 PM

So are you a camgirl or something posting your wish list in hopes that the nerdy internet people will buy you something, or are you directing your family and friends to this site so they can see your wish list. :p

Begora21 12-06-2003 01:24 PM

I think it's always cool to see other people's lists, sometimes helps with ideas for the people on my list that I have no ideas for...

Emotion 12-06-2003 02:28 PM

juanvaldes 12-06-2003 04:01 PM

monkeysugar 12-06-2003 04:09 PM

Phaenx 12-06-2003 05:07 PM

A new punching bag. I killed my old one and now there's a giant pile of unused sand in the basement.

Money.

Clothes.

A huge batch of my own man butter vigorously rubbed into Howard Deans hair.

HugAPug 12-06-2003 05:23 PM

A discman, or an mp3 player. I dropped my last one and, well I need another one. Oh and socks. You can never have too many socks. That's about it.

Halx 12-06-2003 05:45 PM

Mainly I want a 36" HD TV ... not too large, but I don't have a lot of space for it in the first place.

I wanna watch my Lakers in HD!!!

TheShadow 12-06-2003 05:47 PM

- Nice goalie chest protector, blocker and glove... My stuff is wearing out.
- Some programming books
- Zippo... platinum [I wish].

That's about it.

sillygirl 12-06-2003 05:47 PM

Hmm. My list is simple, I think. I don't want anything in particular this year that's material.

I want my boyfriend's mother to accept that we're dating and happy with each other, not give him crap for dating me.

I want my dad's health to improve, and his business grow to what it was a few months ago (stupidass motherf*ckin' Target!)

I want to be steady enough in my job to buy a much needed new car and be able to move into an apartment.

TheFirstDuffMan 12-06-2003 06:08 PM

- The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (Platinum Series Special Extended Edition) ($26)
- Family Guy, Vol. 2 (Season 3) ($34)

Reese 12-06-2003 09:20 PM

Clothes! I don't feel like explaining but my clothes have had it very hard the last few weeks.

amonkie 12-06-2003 10:04 PM

A miracle to happen so I can spend Christmas with my family instead of being on duty, a good job so I can quit my current job and actually have a steady income, and learn to drive a manual transmission.

skier 12-07-2003 01:37 AM

nothing at all!
I am currently satisfied with my material wealth.

tikki 12-07-2003 06:37 PM

I Honestly don't want anything. Well, I'd like to know what my friends and family want, because shopping is difficult!

Evil Milkman 12-07-2003 07:35 PM

- Xbox (the new deal for ~$180)
- MAYBE a new 19 inch TV or something. The one I have in my room now is a little small for playing my hypothetical Xbox. If I don't get a new TV I won't sweat it, though.

I think that's it for now.

ace81385 12-07-2003 08:00 PM

i cant say i really want anything special ... So ill just take cash :)

Speed_Gibson 12-07-2003 10:20 PM

would like one of these actually
http://www.elpj.com/ - "just" costs $13k or so for the model with 78/45/33 support. Really need the 78 support as my current $150 turntable only has 45/33 speeds on it and would love to dispense with needles entirely for all of my daily LP work.

Semi-Normal 12-07-2003 10:31 PM

Some new socks and/or some clothing vouchers would be pretty sweet.

Would also be nice if the old man would replace the faulty discman he bought me for my birthday a couple of years ago, and has been promising to replace ever since.

comp.sci 12-08-2003 04:34 AM

The money for my college applications :D
Other than that I'm just fine.

bukaki22 12-08-2003 01:51 PM

soccerchamp76 12-08-2003 02:06 PM

Counter-Strike for XBOX
Clothes
Money
Family Guy DVD Vol. 1 and Vol. 2
Infusion Football
Pre-ordered Halo 2

Ganguro 12-08-2003 03:48 PM

everything else is a bonus.
When you get older, you really stop caring aobut all the presents, and just want to have an enjoyable time, and full belly for Xmas..

mingusfingers 12-08-2003 04:15 PM

If I ever buy an HD TV, it will definitely be 36". Bigger than that and it's inconvenient. You get used to the size when they're that big as well. 27-36" is right at the "big enough, but not too big" range!

My Christmas List (I sure as Hell don't expect much of this):

Beyond Good and Evil (GC)
F-Zero GX (GC)
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (PS2)
Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (GC)
Viewtiful Joe (GC)
Tony Hawk's Underground (PS2)
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (XBX)
FFX-2 (PS2)
Jak II (PS2)
Need for Speed Underground (PS2)
Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando (PS2)
Project Gotham Racing 2 (XBX)
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (GBA)
Fire Emblem (GBA)

That's all I want -- videogames!. I'm in college, and videogames are life for me. :)

brandon11983 12-08-2003 04:51 PM

Realistic:
DVD's
Hoodies from Eddie Bauer
Hoody and jeans from Aeropostale
Jeans from American Eagle
Boxers

Unrealistic (very):
InFocus 7200 DLP front projector
Draper 106" Screen for the aforementioned projector

12-08-2003 04:54 PM

For the past few years, we've had to make christmas lists- it is really out of hand and unecessary. There's too many people to buy for, and half the stuff on the lists are either things you could buy in a grocery store on any given day or really expensive items. This year we decided it is going to change. We will cut down the nonsense of spending and plethera of presents and we will each write down a few big things we really want and then draw names to see who will get who something and choose from their things. The kids, of course, as the exception, because we all like to buy for them. But it really seems to get greedy & selfish and we lose the focus of just being together.

mrquackers 12-08-2003 05:02 PM

I'd like a high-quality monitor for my PC... preferably this one! :)

http://www.go-l.com/monitors/grand_c...ures/index.htm

(Private to Yoshi: the Apple HD monitor will be a good second choice, too.)

metalgeek 12-09-2003 07:30 AM

The Calgary Flames to play the Edmonton Oilers here in China, in Chengdu, and to positivly kick there asses.
barring that ummm..
some cinnamon would be nice.. really hard to find here in China...
ohh how about not to hear the word laowai for an entire day...
baring all of these impossible things, I'd like the latest neal stephenson book, quicksilver.
And a gamecube:)

kurty[B] 12-09-2003 09:51 AM

- New Monitor (flatpanel would be nice, but any 17+ CRT that isn't a tint of green, or semi-blurry would be nice). A new computer would be nice, but a lil' much.
- CD Player/Receiver
- Hoodies
- An SLR Camera
- oooh, a snowboard and a bmx helmet.

It goes on and on, there's a lot I need, and much much more I'd like to have.

RemyLebeau97 12-12-2003 05:19 PM

Futurama season 2 dvd
Socom 2 US Navy Seals
New exhaust for my crotch rocket
New HJC Helmet
Joe Rocket Nicky Hayden Repsol Leather Jacket (thank you baby, I seen it in your closet) :)
Red Rider BB Gun.............I won't shoot my eye out.

gtr71 12-13-2003 07:35 PM

Beer

phredgreen 12-13-2003 08:04 PM

heh.

i sent an email out to the fam, letting them know that they should dispense with the various novelty (crap) gifts they like to buy and just give us gas money for this trip we're gonna be making. all i really want is to have this whole move thing squared away and not worry about running out of gas money halfway across the country.

that an a 36 inch flatpanel hdtv, an xbox, ps2, spiffy games for both, a new computer, that pioneer surround system i've been selling lots of, the 2 volume far side collection, and a sweet-ass furniture package to furnish whatever apartment or house we move into when we get to virginia.

is that asking too much?

Cardinal Syn 12-13-2003 09:55 PM

I want Love and a Hug.
