I am also an Idahoan...I am always amused when people ask the dumb questions like were my accent is...or if I farm potatos...I like to tell them that I have a free range potato ranch...I let them graze.... And FYI, to those who care... We actually grow more onions and sugar beets than potato's ... I know alot of random triva crap.

American, born in Singapore, grew up in Africa, spent a year in India, currently reside in Nova.
Family's from predominantly Russia, Germany, Lithuania, Poland. That's on one side. From the other side I'm 6th gen American.

raeanna74 11-19-2003 06:11 AM

American. Born in the USA and proud of it.

I'm a perfect example of the effect of the "melting pot". My family heritage is so mixed. Maternal side if very French-German mixed with some or our ancestors even coming from Alsace-Lorraine, France. Paternal side we aren't completely sure of since there was an adoption and the papers are still sealed. Paternal side makes me 1/8 Cherokee but with the blond hair of a German. I know somewhere along the line there's one of the grandfathers from England but that's about 3 or 4 generations ago. I'd have to check my records to know who for sure.
